Stephen Gammon served his apprenticeship with S. Marshall and Sons, he qualified in 1977 and spent the next two years with his wife living and working in Brisbane, Queensland Australia.

Upon returning to the UK he returned to work with S. Marshall and Sons before leaving to work for John Wilding. In 1989 he established KLS Motors in Galgate which has gone from strength to strength ever since.
