This Meter box appears to be fine but actually this is classified as "at risk" we found It during a routine inspection and made it safe. If we had not identified the fault it may have caused a lot of damage to the property. Anyone (apart from gas engineers) know why it's at risk?

We inspected a boiler for the first time yesterday and recommended that a hatch be put in the ceiling as the flue had not been checked for a number of years, when it was opened up we discovered that the flue had come apart in the loft space. A potentially life threatening situation, and another example of why gas appliances should be checked regularly!
