Exciting changes are happening in the Knightor vineyards 🍇
The grapes are now changing through a process called veraison - the beginning of the ripening process. Grape sugars begin to rise, acidity falls, flavour accumulates and a deep red replaces the lime green we've become used to.
Veraison typically takes 5-7 days to complete, after which the grapes will be ripe and ready to harvest 6 weeks later...suggesting a mid-September harvest for us...
... So...who will be the first to try our Vintage 2018?!

We're rounding off August in the best way possible, with a big BBQ feast at the winery, of course! Who's in? 🔥🍷
We'll be grilling up a showcase of dishes inspired by the favourites from previous feasts and cooking over wood from our own red wine oak barrels, for that authentic, extra special flavour.
For £16.95 per person, create your ultimate BBQ feast from a delicious selection of fish and meats, plus plentiful sides and summer specials enjoyed either in the sunny courtyar...d or threshing barn. The menu also includes a selection of tasty alternatives suitable for dietary requirements, plus a childs option of burgers and sausages will be available for £9.95.
MENU ​ - Flank Steaks seared and dressed in roasted garlic and herb garden butter - Sea Trout with a persian style sumac and lemon crust - Slow roasted then lightly smoked Mutton shoulder in a kashmiri spiced marinade

Yet again we had a fantastic Sunday lunch at knightor. The food is absolutely bloody amazing,not a single fault. The soup has been outstanding each time. What really makes the experience so good are the staff. Sadie and Tom in particular are brilliant- they absolutely make the experience top notch. They are both so friendly and welcoming. Tom makes the best mojito! Of course all the staff are fab,but these 2 really stand out.

When we first visited Knightor, we felt that it was the perfect venue to get married at, we were impressed by the venue itself and the staff, who made us feel very welcome. We were not disappointed, from the minute we booked, Jess, put us completely at ease and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our wedding and reception seemed so relaxed and the food was absolutely amazing, we can't thank the staff enough for giving us the most perfect of days.

We were really impressed with Knightor Winery and had a great time at the Royal Wedding garden party today. They put on a fab event to watch the Royal wedding with great food, drink, lots to keep our toddler entertained and an amazing band. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others 😊

We held our wedding reception at the Winery on Saturday, it was the most wonderful day, made all the more so by the fantastic staff and setting at Knightor. We could not have had a happier day, and we would recommend the venue for anyone looking for that something special for their wedding day - the food was incredible. Thank you to the whole team for the help in making our day so special, but a particular thanks to Anna, who was so open to our ideas, so easy going and calm with everything, and as a result our day ran like clockwork.

We had our wedding here this month and we couldn't of asked for it to go any better! We asked for laid back, not to formal and that's exactly what we got but it still being an amazing day! Such a lovely place. Food was fantastic, we was well looked after and even the manor house was great with a lovely breaky the morning after! Couldn't thank the planners enough for what they did! We look forward to revisiting again. Would highly recommend Knightor�Thanks for making our wedding day the best day! �

We got married here on Saturday. Knightor is faultless. I'm not particularly easy to please, and neither is my new husband, however from start to finish they made everything easy. Nothing was too much trouble, the venue is beautiful and reasonably priced. They gave us guidance throughout and made the whole planning experience really enjoyable. On the actual day the operation is so slick you don't notice all the organisation happening around you. All our guests commented on how beautiful it was and how amazing the food was. We had Anna look after us mainly but also met Cathryn and Jess. I can honesty say this venue is perfect for anyone wanting an intimate venue with a super personal service. Also I think my husband has developed a slight mancrush on Tom! Best bar man ever!

We got married at Knightor in November 2017 and the day was nothing short of perfection. Cathryn and the rest of the team were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was stunning and we felt like we were surrounded by friends. I would recommend Knightor to everyone and regularly do! So much love for this place and the people who worked so hard to make our wedding day the happiest and most fun-filled day of our lives �������

The third time I've had a bottle of your Carpe Diem with my meal at The Longstore. Absolutely delicious!!

The food was beyond expectation and the all the staff are very friendly and professional. Looking forward to eating there again soon.

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff are very professional. The setting is just perfect for a relaxed meal with friends. Well done Knightor!

Our wedding day was literally perfect. You guys work so hard and make it look easy. The attention to detail and planning was excellent. I didn't feel stressed or worried at all. I really appreciate all you did for us. Thank you so much xxxx

Me and Andrew had our wedding at knightor all very last minute and they were amazing! Jess was such a superstar,Helped so much and managed to make everything so perfect. And their wine is excellent and Tom is an excellent barman! A happy mrs forshaw �

Love this place never had a bad meal staff are friendly and very generous if any delays. Quality drink and food at an amazing price can not fault it at all. Just keep going back. I do want to go to there Friday evening meals but usually working when they're on

Excellent evening at Knightor tonight for the Nordic themed feast night. Really interesting wine tour with sparkling wine tasting, followed by a fantastic 3 course meal. Thanks to the wonderful staff serving and the staff behind the scenes that makes the place a wonderful venue for a meal out. Only living a couple of miles away, I shall definitely be making a booking for upcoming feast nights in 2018. �

Brilliant evening for the Spring Feast. Great food, fabulous wine, excellent quiz (which we won!) lovely friendly staff, great setting. Would recommend as a great night out.
