Even after last nights stormy weather Pennisetum Dark Desire still looking great in its autumn colours.

We are sorry but the gardens will remain closed today (Friday 12th Oct) due to the high winds and rain. However the nursery will be open as usual between 10am and 5pm.

This is a fabulous garden - no its a "must see" garden - packed with wonderful plants (grasses, shrubs, trees and perennials) and put together in such a wonderful natural way.
The planting is on a grand scale with lush colourful foliage and this time of year the seed heads on the grasses with the autumnal colours on shrubs was stunning.
Some gardens just look like a collection of plants - but Knoll gardens is a garden that has been beautifully put together - and I love the fact that they continue to experiment and change areas of the garden.
Neil Lucas is a great gardener, he and the staff know their grasses inside/out are passionate about what they do.
The small nursery is stocked with quality plants (I had to resist coming home with a boot full). But I'll definitely go back to buy - once I've absorbed all the ideas my visit has given me.
Do go - you will not regret !
My delivery came yesterday, really really impressed with the size and quality of the plants, will be ordering many many more. Thank you for great service and plants.

Beautiful garden it inspired me to get out and do something in ours ! Around every corner a suprise and the tree's to look up at �
