Always a good day out. Be sure to check out the sea lion show and the walk around bit (giraffes, meerkats, bats if they are open)

The driving Safari bit is good. It's always funny watching cars getting destroyed by monkeys and the owners wondering why it's happening.. be smart. If your car is worth something to you then take the safe route.

I personally recommend everyone drives through the monkey bit at least once if they have kids. Buy an old car or use the baboon bus.

£15 visits in winter. Fair price for what's on show.

A great family day out! Downloaded their app which is really useful as it tracks which zone you are driving through. It's like having a personal tour guide as you click on the voice clips to hear information about the animals you are looking at. If you cherish your vehicle, drive AROUND the baboon enclosure as they are very adept at removing a souvenir off your car! Their collection of car parts is quite impressive and the enclosure resembles a well stocked scrap yard! Lol. The lady working in the bat forest was very helpful, informative and clearly loves her job! We went during October half term so kids were half price, and it really quiet. Good value, and you can drive through the safari as many times as you like. Plenty of picnic benches available and outdoor play areas for the kids up by the food court. Tickets for the fairground rides to be purchased separately, I believe it was £2 per ride ticket, or £10 for a wristband. Lots of car parking spaces, and a nice walk around with free animal displays (birds of prey, sea lions etc) to go and see afterwards, and to stretch your legs! 😊

Wonderful safari park to visit. You can get really close to the animals (they're not shy either!). Food at the cafeteria was excellent and the service was professional. One bit of advice: if you have a nice car, avoid the baboons enclosure. They will tear your trim to pieces!

We had a great day and our three year old really enjoyed himself. There's nothing wrong with the park but after visiting West Midlands Safari Park I can't award it five stars.
Also, a couple of the safari areas were lacking. It would have been nice to see a herd of Zebras or the Giraffes walking free. It was difficult to explain to my very disappointed son why there weren't any elephants as they were all over the parks branding. He was gutted and all he was doing was doing his elephant impression all the way round the park.
The funfair was great for my son's age group and good value at £10 for an unlimited wristband.
The baboon enclosure is very entertaining but the novelty soon wears off when they start stripping pieces of trim from your car! My son loved this part and it was actually quite funny but next time I think that I'd miss this out and just watch the baboons modify other people's cars through the fence.
We came back with some good and funny memories so I'd recommend a visit to the park.

Oh we had a lovely day. Greeted by a lovely girl. Full of information. She seemed as excited as I was, my husband's first time.
Don't know what happened to cause the lions to be fenced up, we still got a good view but I did prefer the old way, it was all sort of back to front I nearly missed the monkeys, could be sign posted a bit more been going since it opened, it's really changed.
We had a fab day, loved it.

A great escape to the country and nature from the city. Great value for money and a very relaxed atmosphere. Good rides for Kids.

The only disadvantage is the food served at their cafe. There is no Halal options, so might be better to take a picnic and enjoy it on the many benches outside.

Great collection of creatures with shows for the children and rides suitable for toddlers.

Really good value too, especially if you have a two year old over 90cm tall! If so they get into the park free and you can buy them a £10 voucher for unlimited rides. They must be tall enough and accompanied on the rides by an adult... for free!

What a great day out. I remember going over 40 years ago and now in taking my little boy. Look out for offers March/October they very often do a fix car rate instead of the usual per person price. Monkey safe route if you don't want to get your car eaten.

Absolutely loved this place! The bus you can get from across the station at Lime street, price includes the entrance fee. So close to the animals, and great for taking photos! Afterwards you get off the bus and explore the other areas of the park. Has a fantastic assault course on wires, 3 different levels so kids can try it...not me too scared! Lots of places to eat, both with and without shade, handy in the warm/hot weather. Great place to take babies and very young children. Would definitely go back again.
