first time at this lovely little coffee shop.. Went for breakfast for my sons birthday.. My brother and sister in law from London was over and very impressed.. Lovely atmosphere.. Great food and excellent management made u feel very welcome.. Will definitely be going again

Today we dropped the kids off at nursery and school and my husband treated me to breakfast and coffee at Koo. The atmosphere was so relaxed, made to feel right at home! We both had breakfast with coffee which was delicious. This set me up for the day! ’┐Į staff polite and reasonably priced too which was a bonus.

Such a lovely place with lovely people. Enjoyed the mulled wine a little too much and the tea was such a lovely idea to have the timer to let you know how strong your tea will be. ’┐Į it-you need to come

Really great place. Good food and lovely staff. As somebody who doesn't drink coffee it was really nice to see such a great selection of teas and I loved the little timers that came with them. I would highly recommend a visit here.

Popped in for a Sunday afternoon coffee and ended up having a piece of Chocolate Orange cake. Lovely atmosphere and always friendly staff.

My second visit to Koo this morning. Brought my husband for his birthday breakfast. Drinks and food were amazing (we had the Ranch breakfast). Staff are lovely and the atmosphere is very friendly. Will be back again soon!

Lovely lunch for my mums birthday. Great coffee & great service. The best sweet potato fries I've had. We regularly call here for coffee at the weekends mid dog walk. Seats with blankets outside but Koo is dog friendly so you can go inside.

Large and delicious variety of coffees, the cakes looked amazing and lovely interior with a veranda to sit in the sunshine! I very much enjoyed my Cuban cortado and lemon & poppyseed muffin ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

It's so hard to find a nice cafe/tea room, as soon as we sat down I felt relaxed, coffee was lovely and massive. Eggs Benedict could be one of the best I've ever had and the lemon and blueberry cake was beaut we really enjoyed our visit and will defo return and recomend.

I had a brilliant experience with my friends at Koo.

The staff were very helpful in seating us (there were 6 of us) and the service was exceptional. The coffee was perfect as was the bacon sandwich I had. We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend the cafe highly to anyone. Thank you all at koo. ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

I always love Koo. The ambience of the place, the food, the service, everything is excellent. I even love the ladies toilet!!! We always go to miss the lunchtime rush, about 2pm. The pinklady drink is to die for...

Had a lovely evening tonight at Koo who were hosting a Scent Social <3 Im loving the new decor...and anyone who knows me will not be surprised that I particularly like the wallpaper in the ladies loo ;-)

Great little cafe with good choice of food also willing to accommodate our vegan food choice and always a plus dog friendly

Best coffee in town, attentive staff, the breakfast's are wonderful. Spicy sausage sandwich on ciabatta is to die for. Very good atmosphere all day and night.

Been twice now, once a few weeks back after a walk at Baslow with my friends and then again today with my hubby and our two beagles. Lovely friendly staff that even came outside to see our beagles. Great coffee and the cake was amazing. After my first visit a few weeks ago and did email and after finding out Koo was dog friendly I booked in for afternoon tea for our silver wedding anniversary at the end of March. So a nice walk with our boys followed by afternoon tea at Koo, perfect morning/afternoon.

We went for my moms 50th and had Afternoon Tea. Was great value for money and really enjoyed the atmosphere.



Today (10.03.17) we went back to Koo for Afternoon Tea to celebrate my nans 70th and this time I was really disappointed.

Sandwiches weren't as nice and the scones were generic shop bought. Also only gave us a glass of wine each when we was given the bottle last time. Plus was charged for a tea for the person not drinking which surely should have been included in the price.

Also the petite fours still weren't great and would have rather preferred to be able to have swapped them for a slice of cake each as these were left again!

Won't be going back anytime soon, sorry to say!

Changed and reduced the menu yet again we have always had a lovely experience at Koo but was disappointed this time - we were not told a private party was due in at 4pm there was no specials board and the koo deli sandwich which is normally amazing was served on a tiny impractical bread board on a large dry cob which was very awkward to eat and no usual dressed salad with this the price has also gone up which is fine if the quality is good also ran out of salmon which left a very limited choice. We took our friends for the first time and unfortunately based on that experience they would not return - the service was good as always let's hope next time will be better
