Good food and different. Went here with my wife and mother in law for an evening meal. I went for the 3 course option for 28 pounds. The first course was Sushi of which I am not a massive fan but it was nicely put together and tasted good. For the starter I went for a chicken salad which I shared with my wife which was unusual with crunchy noodles and a sauce that tasted a bit nutty. Was good but in my view would have been nicer with hot chicken and sauce but would not have been as traditional Japanese. For the main I went for the fish special with hake which was delicately cooked and nice but I couldn't really taste the coriander which I am a big fan of. Rice was good. And the salad was nice but unusual. I had some of my wife steak which was nice but my wife was finding the soy flavour a bit too much by the end. Desert was different as well with a berry pans cotta which wasn't sweet enough for me. And with a green tea ice cream which again wasn't sweet enough for me however my mother in law loved it. Maybe it would be good if they had some more traditional English sweeter deserts as the Japanese aren't big desert eaters apparently . Would I go back yes. However I wouldn't rush back. I would recommend checking it out however as it is a different experience to the normal ludlow fare and service is relaxed and pleasant.

Quaint, attractive, small restaurant with very pleasant, helpful staff. Very tasty but also very healthy food definitely not laden with sugar. Eating with chopsticks certainly made us taste each mouthful! Would come here again when in the area. Thank you for the experience.

Great authentic food and service. Could do with a better rotation of dishes as had the same small menu options as last time I visited 6 months ago.

It is one of those little jems, tucked away that makes it superb all round.
It's not a mainstream sort of place and it is very unique.
Only go if you love food, it's not a curry house.
Totally love it.
Exelent food.
Simple uncomplicated and no frills
But brilliant.

A hidden gem and well worth the short walk from the town centre. In a town the size of Ludlow it's a real surprise to find a Japanese restaurant of this quality, where enjoyed every meal we've had here and recommend it to all our friends

This is an intimate restaurant with only 10-11 tables. The atmosphere is calm & relaxed. The staff are very friendly & accommodating. The food is sublime, very well prepared & beautifully presented. Dinning at this restaurant is a very pleasurable and memorable experience.
