We just had a delicious koshari at Koshari street in South Ken, congratulations for the new opening of this branch. Everything was great, tasty and clean. The staff were all very very friendly and nice. The decoration of the place is so nice, me and my family really enjoyed our experience there. Thanks to the owner, many thanks for the great chefs, it was great bringing the traditional koshari of Egypt in the heart of London . Good luck and looking forward for more branches.

We eat here every time we come to London. Perfect food. Perfect Egyptian coffee. It's so nutritious, I don't need to eat for about 15 hours. Highly recommended!

User

The most delicious street food experience I've ever had:) sending greetings to friendly staff!

The discovery of Koshari street is a bittersweet one for me. On one hand, I was filled with joy by as the koshari blessed my taste buds with infinite sensations. On the other hand, I became disheartened, as if I had lived a whole lifetime without experiencing such a simple form of satisfaction. My only wish is to have unearthed a gem such as this one years before. It's pretty cheap too.

User

So so tasty!! We just had to eat there two days in a row because it was so delicious! Something completely different than everything I've tried before. Definitely a must try! <3

Lovely Egyptian stew with cous cous, St Martins lane. Tasty fast food, above the ordinary

User

Love this place so tasty, it make my mouth water just thinking about it. :-( they do not deliver to my area.

User

I love this place! I live near the Leicester Square shop and come here around once a week. I’ve recently become vegetarian and knowing I can find delicious tastes at this restaurant has made my transition to vegetarianism easier. The staff is kind and attentive and the manager Dennis always makes me feel welcome. I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s up for new, exciting, and healthy flavors!

User

Delicious food, both meat and vegan options to please everyone, good prices, and they happily served me straight in my tupperware box so no disposable box or waste this time! They also have biodegradable tubs and cutlery for those who don't have their own box, so on top of the food being super tasty, they are very environmentally friendly :)

User

A friend of mine and I stumbled upon this gem hidden in the midst of busy Covent Garden. Overshadowed by the collection of well-known fast food chains surrounding the restaurant, many, including us, have surely overlooked it. However one steaming hot April afternoon we decided to take a chance and entered Koshari Street. Upon entering, you are immediately greeted by the beautifully decorated interior, a delightfully friendly waiter and a smell reminiscent of the street food stands in Cairo. Food was cheap, vegetarian and in all ways fucking brilliant.

User

Very good taste, amazing staff and above all it's very Egyptian :D <3

The only downside is that it's very small space for dining in :/

User

I'd never tried this dish nor egyptian food before. it was quite tasty and filling made with lentils, rice, vermicelli, spicy tomato sauce, chickpeas and caramelised onions. a good meal if you're in a hurry. there's some seating inside along some benches.

User

Koshari is good but Mulukhia is not done properly and not fresh at all. Any Egyptian would say that you never put mulukhia on a koshari base!! You never serve mulukhia as a sauce! Mulukhia should be served with white rice, tomato sauce and well cooked chicken or (very traditionally) rabbit! Please get a proper Egyptian chief if you want to serve Egyptian food correctly! Also waiters should be Egyptian to be able to give right information about the food they serve!

User

I really like your food, it's always a tasty, fresh, quick lunch option. But a revised menu is overdue. How can you justify offering a koshari & salad combo for £5.95 in which you only serve half the amount of the classic koshari, which costs £4.95? £1 more for half the amount of food and some salad doesn't add up. Paradoxically, if I were to request a large koshari with salad (because I want more koshari than the half portion of the classic), it's not possible. Why can't you split the larger serving in half and add salad - it's the same thing? Finally, to resolve both these issues, a much more sensible option would be to offer a regular or large koshari, in a combo with a side salad, for which you could justifiably charge slightly more. None of this splitting portions in half business, just a reasonable bundle price for buying a small side salad (not the full sized Salata Baladi currently on the menu) together with one of the 2 koshari portions. I guarantee this would be a popular choice

User

The food is reasonable in price, quality and quantity but Koshari Street is not at all reliable when it comes to catering for big events. From my experience, the members of staff were kind but I remember one being particularly rude.

User

I just bought 2 vegetarian boureks, well both of them were lamb :S

The worst koshari ever

I don't recommend it
