Wednesday nights special: Köz king chicken.

On Christmas Day the koz team was overwhelmed with the generosity of the local community, who kindly donated towards our goodwill gesture towards helping the homeless. So on Boxing Day myself and some of my team, headed into central London to give to the less fortunate.

On behalf of the whole team at koz we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated cakes, clothes, biscuits and toiletries. Unfortunately we have many items left over Which we will be giving out to the homeless/shelters. Also like to thank the three lovely ladies Abby, ilayda and Angelia and her lovely family for coming over to help.

Tonight the members of Beckenham Appreciation Facebook group had a party at Koz and it was fantastic!!!!! The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is absolutely amazing. Such a lovely choice on the menu that I HAVE to go back and taste more. Highly recommend xxx

So suprised to see the bad reviews I've been going there with my family for a couple of years and each time it gets better and better. The food is delicious, atmosphere brilliant and service excellent. We were there last weekend and we'll be there again this weekend, can't wait. They do give you the party menu for large groups as they prefer you to chose from there but you can chose from the main menu if you wish they will not refuse. The best Turkish restaurant around.

So consistent. Always a happy welcome. Nothing too much trouble .. but best of all the food is great. Extremely fresh and so flavourful.

Lots of interesting dishes on the menu and something for everyone. Good wine list.

Just had my baby shower at Köz and had the most amazing time! There was 35-40 of us and we were all looked after very well! The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the food was, as usual, amazing!! Thank you very much!!

I cannot fault this place at all! My son booked my granddaughters birthday party here the manager and staff were very attentive the food was just the best food I have eaten in respect of kebabs full of flavour and so tender! We are going back on Friday to celebrate another birthday of the family and cannot wait!! A big Thankyou to hus the owners son for all the attention he gave to the girls on their special day.

I LOVE Koz in Beckenham, the food is amazing (my favourite dish is the chilli chicken), the staff are incredibly friendly yet professional and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family - the best place to eat in Beckenham �

Have been going here since it opened and were regular visitors when it was in Dulwich. Never had a bad meal, the food is delicious, prompt service and friendly staff, don't understand some of the reviews as ourselves and friends have never had a problem.

I must say the manager is also always welcoming and friendly.

Myself and my son dined at Koz for the first time and we were very impressed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had starters, mains and desserts. All courses were fresh, well presented and very tasty. The wine was good and I have nothing negative to say. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to the chefs and waiting staff. Did NOT see any sign of the rude, aggressive manager that was mentioned in other reviews but did witness a very polite man in a suit of whom I presume was the manager who was smiling, friendly and checking that his customers were all ok. Highly recommend a visit to Koz.

The manager openly shouting at his kitchen staff made me and other guests feel really uncomfortable. Even the staff felt the need to apologise . Just really unprofessional and made me feel really sorry for the staff .

Atmosphere was nice! Decor good! Starters we nice but main course Fish was over cooked ! Our waiter was very good! Owner was a bit over barring. They need to take a leaf out of Marmaris 's book in west wickham, for good food and customer service.

Went in to koz for my mums birthday with 10 of us! We were all given menus which happen to be party menus which was not stated in the booking that 10 or more people were restricted to this menu. We questioned this to which there manager become very aggressive stating that this is what happens when there is a big party. He was leaning over our table waving his hand around getting angry that we was not happy with the menu. However the table next to us had a table of 10 or more and were given normal menus. The party menu is very restricted food only having 5 meals. He continued to be very aggressive towards our party and made the little ones really upset to which they started crying, when we said we was going to leave he said 'I don't care if you leave' and snatched the menus from the table to which we all left! I felt very embarrassed that this happened with a restaurant full of people and the manager thinks that he was right when all we wanted to do was look at the other menus as not everyone in our party was happy with the party menu. I would never step foot in this restaurant again even if he manager was no longer there.

Never ever again would I step foot in this place. Went in with a party of 10 for a birthday and was told by the manager that we could only choose from the party menu which has only about 5 starters 5 mains and 1 dessert to chose from. This was never made clear when the table was booked as if this was explained we would have gone else where to begin with. I asked the manager politely if some could have the party menu and others could have from the main menu as some people only wanted mains and as stated there is not a lot of variety on the party menu. The manager then started to get really aggressive and rude saying that we couldn't he explained that if we wanted to do that he would still charge us the price for the party menu which was 22.50 a head. Yet the people that only wanted a main would be paying more for something that they never had. I said to family that this was a stupid (my opinion) which the manager started shouting over my 6 year old brother saying that it wasn't. Which i asked him to stop shouting and making a scene and shouting over my little brother. He was very rude and even started taken the menus away from us. He made a little girl cry because of rudeness and angry and completely ruined the birthday meal. We of course walked out but his reaction in his own words "good ridense". Surely as a party of over 10 you would be happy for us to order what they want as they would easily have got over £300 from us for the whole evening. Why would you as a customer order from a menu that you didn't want or be paying more for something that you don't want. It doesn't make sense the manager has no customer service skills when it comes to a complaint and have no idea how he got to his position. I was calm on the situation but the manager made it a scene and a issue with the last words from the awful manager I will never recommended anyone to go here and will be advising as many people I no about this and never to go. Awful awful awful.

I went with 14 people for a Christmas party and had the set menu for £23, we asked for a mix of the starters but were only given dips, bread and a feta filo pastry, when I asked about the haloumi and calamari I was told as we'd asked for a mix of starters that is all we were getting. The mains were good but the pudding was a piece of baklava the size of my thumb, total rip off for the price. The other gripe I had was the awful service from our waitress who wasn't able to smile and rolled her eyes when asked for anything. I won't be rushing back.

I had an awful experience in this restaurant. Manager/owner very rude and aggressive, only thinks about himself and not the customers needs, me and my large family walked out. Never again will I step into this poorly run, shocking place of a restaurant.
