AND THE WINNER IS (DRUM ROLL...) LACEY SKINNER, AGED 9. Here is Lacey's fabulous fish which you will see on our menus in the future. The runners up are Grace Partridge aged 4, Maisie Partridge aged 4, Alice Partridge aged 7, Phoebe Budd aged 6 and Freya Mcleod aged 2. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to all the budding artists who entered the competition, every single fish was fabulous!

We are looking for someone to join our team at Krispies.
General Assistant
The job will include washing up, answering the telephone and general Kitchen Porter duties.... Must be hard working and enthusiastic.
5 days a week starting 4pm-11pm, will include weekends

You have to try the battered chips! Fabulous fish n chip shop - always fresh, you can wait a while but it’s well worth it. Grab your tea and head to the beach 👍🏻

Visited Krispies for the first time this evening - from the moment we entered we were greeted by lovely people, the shop was very busy but the staff seem to have it all under control and our food order didn't take long at all. I had the cod and battered chips which were amazing and certainly held up to their award winning title!

Also loved how the shop showed me the type of potato they were frying and where today's fish had been caught and by whom!

Def be back �

My daughter and new son-in-law chose to have Krispies delivered for their sit down meal on their wedding day, I was worried that it wouldn't be hot enough, but wow it was hotter than when I walk home from the shop with it..... It was all cooked to perfection and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. A huge big Thankyou Tim & Kelly.

Food was just amazing! We have recently had fish and chips for our wedding sit down meal and it was beautiful couldn't have asked for better food tasted and looked amazing was all still very hot! Delivered and served to all our guests with sauces. Fantastic service great food great price! 5 star not enough! Thank you so much :)

Excellent friendly efficient service. Fish batter is probably one of the best I’ve tasted; fish is always brilliant white in colour, flakey in texture - tastebud heaven.

Although very busy last night the fish chips and battered sausages ordered were absolutely fantastic! Kelly & Tim your team re true credits to you! You both should be very proud! #BestChipShopInTheWorld

Perfectly cooked fish and chips, presented in a timely fashion given the length of the queue, portions a little mean - no difference between mini and regular.

I’ve been there in August’17/ atmosphere is super...I ate the English classics fish and chips...pretty well price and amazing taste...every time again

K, quick round up of how it was.



Chips, the battered ones were meh ok, my fave local majors in Bilston would kill them in a duuuurty fight. The 'normal' ones were ok, nowt amazing. Both were very uniform, neither had any bad bits and cooked to perfection however they felt a bit dry and tbh not much in the way of flavour. Even when soaked in vinegar they didn't get a lift.



My boy had a hamburger, said it was fantastic and it were gone in seconds.



Mrs had cod, said it was nice and tasty and the batter was great, didn't order a mini one but the portion were ickle.



Service was polite, even had the offer 'would you like to try a few of each style, see what you would like?' despite all the pleasantries it still took over 10 mins for me order to get wrapped and handed over from time of order, blamed the boys burger but everyine seemed to be waiting ages. Girl on the front worked her legs off, didn't stop. The service and manners would challenge any top end retailer.



They have a few seats along then window, prob enough for about 8 people, we ate there which was quite cosy, went to grab some ketchup comes in a little tub. 2 teaspoons worth,......50p! Didn't seem like a top brand either.



Average to good food, polite yet slow service, could have got the same order for 3quid less.

Nice, but your local could def compete for that title if this is the winning standard.

Disappointed on both occations we have ordered from here items have been missed off our order.... on the plus size what we did get was beautiful and would wholeheardly recommend. Just double check your order before you leave.

BUT... every visit, no matter what time of day- the delay is far too long...

...this is not fast food...

� What a let down! We’ve used you on numerous occasions but after today’s atrocious meal never again. Chips were over cooked, sharp slivers and stuck together, not like the usual light and fluffy ones we’ve become accustomed to. Normally we get offered lemon with the fish, not on this occasion. A waste of £31.00 we were number 74 today if you want to look it up! �

Very disappointed with our fish and chips tonight...mediocre at best . very greasy fish...chips lots of bits including some battered chips...first time we have been disappointed in 3years. .hope this isnt a signof things to come
