Happy to announce details of our new location! We've headed up the A10 to Tottenham and will be located inside The Cause. We're really excited about getting involved with the scene that's sprouting up in the area and the shop should be operational from next week. We are also happy to announce a last minute launch party / charity fund-raiser in conjunction with The Cause!
Event will take place on Friday 14 September. We will start at 6pm - music and BBQ outside with us se...lling records inside. From 10pm we'll get things going in the main club space. DJs confrimed so far Richard Fearless, Wolf Music Recordings, Oli Silva and many more TBA - keep an eye on the event page for updates!
Door tax is pay what you feel, minimum £5 with all money going to Mind in Haringey and The CALMzone.

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
After 7 years here in Dalston the time has come to move on. We'll be closing the shop at the end of August and relocating - news about a new spot coming soon so watch this space! We've had a great run here, loads of good times and great memories. Really sad to leave but the time is right to start fresh somewhere new!
Thank you to all our customers, followers and supporters over the years. You've got a couple of weeks to come and say bye to the place, so ...pop down for a chat and a beer and buy some records if you can - it will really help with the transition to the new shop!

I couldn't imagine a better experience at a record shop. The owner is super knowledgable about the records and he pulled some absolute gems for me that I couldn't resist. These are the experiences every record shop should be able to provide. Great conversation about great music and a comfortable atmosphere to explore new sounds. Top notch. Don't hesitate to dig at Kristina.

Great shop!! Was my first time buying records and didn't have a clue but Jason was really helpful and found me some great records. Glad to have this place round the corner as I'm looking forward to going back.

Great place! Messaged the owner late on Monday night if he could open up while being closed on Tuesday, got an answer within half an hour and it was no problem to come by the next day. Owner is a really nice guy and knows his music, great selection in house and techno and a lot of other stuff too. Definitely worth a visit!

record stores are for discovering music, entering as a client and leaving as a friend. that didnt happen today.

The guy working there was extremely rude and patronising towards me after I listened to about 10 records and didn't find something I wanted to buy. Quite a bizarre and unsettling experience

So KristinaRecords Dalston . Calling you out on this one. So I go in to ask if I can put some flyers on the desk as it's for a fundraiser involving musicians. Kinda makes sense. Local community record store supporting a local community musician in helping him raise funds to aid keeping him around a bit longer. He would have found this out if he showed any interest and maybe asked a question or two. I called him out on it saying music and artists working towards a fundraiser is a thing. His response was 'So; music and charity, what it got to do with one another'? Quite a lot actually. Music and art are to help others and bring about communities. Not just line your pockets. I proceed to get frustrated with him to which his response is, 'Why don't you buy a record then'? Well mate, I actually do and you would probably find some of the records that I have worked on in your store. Also, some of the artists that are providing their services for free to aid another one of their fellow brothers have helped in keeping stores like yours alive. As an artist and a music lover I have and still do a lot to help my fellow music family and you should think about doing the same instead of sticking up two fingers to the people that help you put bread on the table. And yes I did call you a F'ING PRIC* at the end. Well.....because you were one. Jxx
