such a great exercise and one we like to use in our Transition Pilates (intermediate) sessions as one of Joseph Pilates original 34 exercises. The single leg stretch is great for developing the deep stabilising muscles of the trunk/abdominal region during movement. ⁣ 🙌 The upper back and shoulders should be raised off the floor with the shoulders drawn down away from the ears.⁣ 👉 Use the out breath to deeply engage the abdominal region and scoop the belly in keeping the lower... back in contact with the mat at all times⁣ 👆 Bring one knee into the chest whilst the other leg is lengthened away from the body⁣ 🙏 Inhale and. as you exhale swap legs⁣ ⁣ This exercise is one we progress towards after first establishing a great foundation in Pilates with our Basic Series 1 & 2 including correct breathing, pelvic stability and a strong core.... but once there it's a fab exercise and we love it 😍⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #pilateslovers #pilatesbody #core #pilatesinstructor #inspiration #pilates #pilateschester #pilatesstudio #chesterpilates

I knew I'd like aerial pilates but I didn't expect to love it as much as I do! I feel worked, stretched and relaxed after each session. I keep finding myself doing routines I never thought I was capable of. KT pushes me when I need it but works routines to accommodate all abilities. It's a friendly relaxed studio in a beautiful building which is easy to park near.

I'm looking forward to doing other sessions when my little one is in school and I get a bit of me time. In the mean time I look forward to more aerial pilates. �
