We are hosting a FREE series of 2 workshops consisting of a nature -led walk to learn to identify local plants and trees within Leyton Jubilee Park and uses which will include edible wild plants. All ages welcome. Please wear comfortable walking shoes but feel free to bring buggies. Led by Maria Casarrubios a local Horticulturalist Tutor with over 30 years experience. There is no registration so just show up on the day

Annabelle Barlow is looking for a long term help with a daytime babysitter for her 3 children every Thursday morning where she runs the community project, sling library here at the cafe. Any ideas? The childcare group hasn’t been any help.

Webt here for a lovely lunch today and came back for yummy cake after a run around in the playground. So nice to have such a welcoming and child friendly place in a park that's not too far for us. Only concern is it will get too popular ;-)

We had our daughters 4th birthday celebrations here.. An amazing fairy tea party. A day that we will cherish forever! It was truly magical! Really out did our expectations... All the small details were fantastic. To find some of my gluten free treats was a bonus for me too. My daughter had an amazing day and felt like true fairy princess with her friends and family. Everything was taken care of from the cake, decorations, entertainment, serving... Having 3 under 4's I could just sit back and enjoy the party without lifting a finger or worrying! Joy was very easy to speak to and discuss the party with on many occasion! Great team!!!

We had another lovely brunch here today! So great to have somewhere to enjoy something yummy ( good range of foods including vegan organic fruit lollies yummy!!) and that my little girl enjoyed too as lots of toys and arts crafts. Thank you

We celebrated our daughters 2nd birthday here today with a fantastic party organised by Joy and her lovely staff! Birthday girl and friends had a very special afternoon with lovely food, really fun party games perfect for little people, fun decorations and a peppa pig cake to write home about! Guests have all said what a wonderful afternoon they had. Thanks so much!!!

Visited today to meet up with my Girlfriends Daughter and Granddaughter.

What an absolute gem of a place, clean but homely at the same time, definitely child friendly, there were lots of babies and toddlers with Mum's and at least one Dad. Lots of toys and books for the children. Very wide selection of Teas and Coffee etc. The staff were delightful, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

The area should be thankful that they have such a great resource in their park and I hope treasure it.

Visited the park today for the Pirate Ship as Grandchildren mad on Pirates then visited for late lunch good choice of food,Gluten Free options,clean child friendly will visit again!

This cafe is wonderful. It has saved my life so many times this summer when I was heavily pregnant and needed to take out my other kids. The park is lovely and then the cafe has a nice range of reasonably priced food, lovely coffee but a huge range of toys and such a welcoming atmosphere. Joy the owner is a beautiful person and very kind. And now it’s colder it’s just great for me to take the family there and feed y babe while the other kids and we have lunch. Highly recommend.

The coffee (espresso) is good, the food is good (home-made stuff), Joy and Steve who run the place are friendly and helpful. It's great to have this wonderful cafe on our doorstep!

So proud of our Jubilee park and absolutely love this wonderful cafe run by Joy....a friendly , warm, inviting place for all....we love to sit here for a coffee after walking our dog and love to watch families visit and join in with story telling , singing etc...this is a much needed addition to Leyton and a wonderful venue for mums, Dad's, Carers to meet.....wish this had been around when my kids were little! Fantastic place ...well done to all the staff.

Lovely food, good value for money and very accommodating. So nice to have somewhere welcoming to sit and eat with kids at last! Lots of toys and activities for children. We'll definitely be returning.

Kukoolala hosted my son's 4th birthday party, who was treated to a space-themed extravaganza! The cafe was decorated beautifully with hand-made rocket garlands and space-themed food, including star- and rocket-shaped sandwiches, alien jellies and rocket fruit-kebabs. The children underwent 'astronaut training' and were awarded certificates at the end. They dressed paper astronauts, hunted for moon rocks, raced balloon rockets and so much more. There were glitter and confetti-filled eggs for the egg and spoon race, a hand-made piñata and a massive cardboard rocket for photo opportunites. The children ran around in jet-packs (again, hand-made) and had a whale of a time. I am not exaggerating when I say it was probably the best day of our son's life! Kukoolala asked us a few questions about what sort of things our son liked and then went to town on the decorations, food and activities. We paid a little extra for the latter but it was well worth it. After the party, we were able to burn off the sugar rush in Leyton Jubilee park. It was a wonderful event and we would like to thank Joy and the staff for making our little boy's dream party. We would highly recommend this place to others - you just won't get better value for your money and they will do any theme your child likes. They just love making children happy - I can't imagine they turn much of a profit! Please support this magical place. It really is a treasure.

Kukoolala has become our home from home. It is a warm and vibrant place where everyone is made to feel welcome. Our little one loves the Silly Storytime with Joy (who realy lives up to her name!) and raiding the large range of toys available. It's wonderful to have an inviting place to go to with a baby/toddler, where we can relax, chat, and drink coffee. Plus the banana bread is excellent!

Joy is such a lovely host and we go there for story telling in weekday at 10:30am, come and have a cuppa and fun time!=) xxx

I had the pleasure of teaching First Aid to a group of parents at KukooLaLa this week. What a great little find in a great location. The parks and grounds around it are also lovely for little ones. I'll definitely be visiting with my children.

Dear Joy and your amazing team, we just wanted to say a massive thank you for delivering such a fantastic 3rd birthday pirate themed party for our son last Sunday. All the little people had a brilliant time and the parents felt very welcome (and hopefully relaxed). The games and activities were fun and the food was lovely - especially the attention to pirate detail! And yes the pirate ship cake was designed wonderfully and was also delicious - definitely one of the highlights. Thanks for making it all happen. It has been a busy time our twins arriving three weeks before and knowing all birthday party bases were covered was a great help. It was also great to be able to then let the little people run and climb across the park on the pirate ship after the party! See you soon no doubt. Thanks again. Caroline and Marty

Best Caffe in Leyton....Let the kids play in the park and have a tea with lunch or Coffee and cake. Love it everytime we go there.
