Kwalee was founded in 2011 by gaming icon David Darling CBE, a key architect of the UK games industry who previously co-founded and led Codemasters for many years.
Based in Leamington Spa, the UK's biggest game development hub outside Greater London, our team includes industry legends such as Andrew Graham (creator of Micro Machines) and Jason Falcus (programmer of classics including NBA Jam) alongside a growing and diverse team of mobile gaming experts.
We have a unique approach to generating new game ideas, known as 'Creative Wednesdays'. Every week, the whole company gathers to hear pitches of new hypercasual game ideas which can be delivered by anyone in the company, regardless of position.
Even better, those who pitch titles that go on to be successful are eligible for generous royalty payments on top of their salaries. Through this, multiple team members have even doubled their salaries!
We maintain that spirit of creative openness when we work with external developers to publish their games, and we have a great track record for publishing global hits including Rocket Sky and OverTake.
