Went with my work mates for my leaving do and what a hidden gem the La Bandera is!



Amazing! We had a variety of tapas dishes to share and we were in food heaven. Can't praise it enough! Proper authentic Spanish food destination in Manchester. Definitely coming back! Thank you for the great night La Bandera!

We went here recently for lunch after seeing the reviews and it didn't disappoint! We couldn't have asked for a better afternoon as the service was great and we were made to feel very relaxed and welcome. The sangria was fab, the food was amazing and the wine list was excellent too. Highly recommended!

We ate here last night and have to say it was an awesome dining experience. We went for the taster menu, very competitively priced at £45. Each dish was exceptional, the octopus being particularly tasty. The maître d'hôtel enquired for feedback and see how we were after each course which, arguably, become a bit tedious. However, upon reflection at the end of the meal it was evident that this feedback was essential in providing us clientele with an exemplary culinary experience.

Totally the best tapas I have ever had, service was impeccable, we are visiting again very soon �

Not only the best tapas meal we’ve ever had (and that includes Spain) but possibly the best meal we’ve ever had. Decor, service, atmosphere, portions, flavour - can’t reccomend this place highly enough and Nur our waiter - and all staff - were fantastic. We’ll be back next time we’re in Manchester!

Lovely contemporary restaurant with welcoming staff. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the service is attentive. The food was good and reasonably priced. We had six tapas between two and it was plenty. Will will be visiting again! Thank you.

I first visited as a group party of 11 people. The food and service was exceptional. The service was the perfect balance between attentive and allowing you to enjoy your occasion.

The food was fresh, excellent quality and beautifully presented.



I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Perfect for groups, couples, friends/families or even just a stop off whilst having a day out shopping it caters for all.



Very reasonably priced for the high class surroundings. You can’t go to Manchester without visiting here or you’ll be missing out

Enjoyed an amazing evening at La Bandera, the food was to die for the wine and cocktails gorgeous the staff were attentive and helpful and the atmosphere was laid back but classy. I recommend the Taster Menu with Wine absolutely delicious. A Special mention must be made to Barbara and Sean they made the evening for us

Cool location, in a quiet street behind Deansgate. Amazing staff taking care of every detail. The food was even more amazing, the quality of the food matches the prices.

We first shared some croquettes, patatas bravas and pork cheek which were excellent. For mains we had the flat steak and cod and tiger prawn skewers and for desert the almond cake and coconut torrijas. Was so happy to find out they have estrella galicia, the best spanish beer by far.

Even though it was a quiet monday evening, the atmosphere was really good. Very pleased with our visit there, we will definitely come back.

Celebrated our 16th Wedding Anniversary there last night . The food was excellent and the staff were amazing !!. Can't wait to visit again . Thanks guys x

Ate here with my husband. We had 6 tapas and a glass of Sangria. It was all delicious. The staff were very friendly and the service was fab! Definitely recommend and will go again

Absolutely fantastic! A table of 8 of us, which they somehow managed to seat last minute made us a little sceptical. Wow were we wrong, atmosphere, staff and especially the food was fantastic. We had two of the meat sharing boards and the arioli and bread between us all to start, we had a combination of starters (as tapas) for mains between 5/6 per couple, this was too many, even for us lads who have a very large appetite! 4 is a reasonable amount if your hungry, squid ink balls were so tasty, fully recommend these. Can't fault any of the dishes we tried and the octopus with chilli mash was particularly great too (if you like that sort of thing). With numerous beers and cocktails it came to £43 ahead inc tip! Would 100% return to this restaurant. Can't rate highly enough.
