La Bonne Crepe Description

La Bonne Crepe is homemade and traditional creperie serving delicious crepes and galettes (savoury crepes) based in Bristol since 2007.

I first started to cook crepes and galettes as a student in Brest, Brittany where crepes are originated from. I learnt how to make different kind of batter as there almost every village has their own recipes, how to use the Rozelle (the wooden spatula used to spread the batter onto the crepe makers), do different folding to present the crepes in an attractive way in the plate, go to the market every day to choose fresh food and the “menu du jour “and cook everything from scratch every day. It was a brilliant job working along people passionate about their food and what goes in it.
After my studies, I moved to Bristol in 2002 to improve my English and started La Bonne Crepe in June 2007 as I was missing working in a kitchen.
La Bonne Crepe opened as a creperie /café operating 6 days /week in Castle Park, Bristol through a trailer. In 2011, La Bonne Crepe became a mobile creperie taking part at different events from small and local to Glastonbury Festival. You can find us in a lot of festival during the summer, street food markets and private events the rest of the year. We cater for any kind of events, using local, Organic, Fair-Trade products. We make authentic, tasty crepes and galettes with a smile a share a good time with our customers.
