Christmas Day 25th of December
Yes, the restaurant will be open on Christmas day lunch time. It could be an amazing day. Imagine, you wake up,open your presents at home, come to la Chouette for lunch and abuse, go back home and pass out in the armchair. I cannot think of anything better to do on Christmas day, can you?

Mussels and chips weekend 10th and 11th of November We could not accommodate everybody in October so I will be doing a second mussels and chips weekend. Smoked Scottish salmon, 1 kg of mussels, with chips and mayo of course and a creme brulee. Price is £29.90 per pers. Make sure to book early as it is always popular.

Valentines day will be there soon! Remember folks the 14 of February. Do not forget to do something or you will end up in the dog house! I spend most of my time there. Why don`t you bring your dear wife or partner for a romantic meal at la Chouette. Here is the menu fort that special day. Mothering Sunday La C...houette will be open on Sunday the 26 of March at lunchtime. Book early as Mother`s day is always popular.
Wine tasting 13 may Philippe will be back to show us some more wines. I will do a four course meal and Philippe will bring more or less 10 different wines to suit the meal. This time Philippe will bring wine from The Loire valley. So, if you want to experience some new wine, come to La Chouette. Menu: Scottish marinated salmon salad, Sole filet with Asparagus, Duck breast with Morels, Dessert. These evenings are always very popular. Make sure to book quickly.
