Wow! What a find! My friend and I came across the restaurant by chance on a trip from Wales. Dropped daughter off at a gig and headed over to the area as recommended.

We couldn't have got luckier!

The food was absolutely delicious- quality tapas! The service was excellent too and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We would highly recommend.

Whilst I loved the food we had exceptional service - coming from Spain the price is overpriced in comparison to Spanish Tapas in the home land and the menu is just basic Spanish tapas and some dishes are not Authentic Spanish Tapas - lots of cheaper servings missing on the menu - the pil pil prawns are badly presented - go to Spain and make your menu from the South as that is closer to a UK market than the North of Spain tapas

What a fantastic place - amazing food, great atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back.

This place is our favourite restaurant, always a real treat and the staff make you feel so welcome. The food...... The food.... is superb, try the special we had a blue cheese and date croquette... wonderful. Recommended by Alper the manger 'who by the way really sets the tone for this place'... a real must see!

Our favourite eating establishment in angel . The food and hospitality is always 5 star we have never had a bad experience here . We have now moved out of the area but always travel back just to have our most loved tapas .

I have frequented La Farola over the past three years and know it to be one of the best and friendliest eateries in London. The food is excellent, with their boquerones, tortilla, goats cheese-stuffed courgette flowers, tenderstem broccoli, and croquettas among my favourite dishes. A change in the menu always generates a feeling of disappointment, that is until I try the new dishes which always match the restaurants high standards of flavour and presentation.

the food was great but there was a crazy woman in there who threatened to 'slit my f***king throat' in front of my toddler and parents, completely out of the blue. Staff did literally nothing, despite her shouting it across the restaurant 3 times and approaching my family - we left as the woman wasn't even thrown out. Despite emails to the management nothing was ever done and my emails went unanswered. such a shame as enjoyed the food and our waitress was lovely, but the lack of any kind of action makes me not want to go back.

My wife dined here today, early evening, with a friend. While the food was good, the service was appalling.

The waitress dropped mayonnaise on my wife's skirt and coat and on another customer's hair.

Not only did the waitress not even apologise immediately to the guests, the restaurant had the gall to add on the service charge when the bill arrived. Any respectable restaurant would waive the entire bill, or at least offer to pay for the dry cleaning.

She could not even look my wife in the eye when she finally received an apology.

It is a shame that the good food was ruined by your staff's attitude. We certainly won't be recommending La Farola to anyone we knew.

I've honestly never experienced such disrespect. I don't expect to be treated this way by anyone- let alone those delivering a public service- and I certainly don't expect to pay to be treat so poorly!



I think it's fair to say that the staff in this restaurant profiled 4 young women wrongly; proceeding to belittle and undermine us! As paying customers we should have been respected just as much as the other dinners.



The manager had an extremely aggressive tone and after leaning over me in his venture to embarrass and disrespect us I cannot recommend this restaurant nor condone his behaviour. After getting the Met Police involved, following our decision that we would not be paying for this service and shown up in front of the other customers we were all shaken and extremely offended! We were left feeling so uncomfortable after sending food back that eating all of the food was a sicken prospect. The particular tapas that was sent back was not value for money (even if it is Tapas) and this should not have created such animosity anyway!



This restaurant really needs to reconsider its front of house staff and managerial roles. Lesson learned, won't be going back and please understand the law before trying to force disrespected, offended and NEW customers into paying for your diabolical services.
