Dear all our loyal customers, over the years some of you have become part of the furniture here at La fattoria and some of you even part of our ever growing family. We would just like to thank you for your loyalty and joining us over the love of food. We would just like to answer the many queries we have had over the new restaurant in Hoole, and would just like to clarify that it is not part of our family run business nor are we a chain.We would love to branch out but prefer ...to stay humble to our roots and retain our authentic home cooking. Our chefs brothers Mario and Luigi (lol yes thatŌĆÖs their names) re-create classic dishes of their Neapolitan childhood, with recipes past down from generations. To open another branch would be impossible and never the same as they refuse to share their secrets. We wish the best of luck to our Italian neighbours in Hoole but wouldnŌĆÖt want any of our customers to be confused nor to have mis-guided expectations. We hope to retain a certain standard here at La Fats by keeping your bellies full with our homely one of a kind food. We look forward to feeding your souls and welcoming you into our family, as always. Happy eating!!

Christmas festivities in full spirit at la fattoria!

Chester is a great city and as the core of Cheshire should adapt to times changing. There is no doubt that independent restaurants are more authentic and use local produce, but as lovers of food, the family at La fattoria believe that restaurants are spaces that enable people to share,communicate and encage over the greatest privilege in life...food. As restauranteurs we should embrace diversity as it does and will bring in extra tourism from a different target group. Our eth...ic at La fattoria focuses on keeping our customers satisfied and educated on quality of food, ensuring they leave with full bellies and elevated taste buds at a good price. Our advice is that Food shouldn't be over priced, food is for the people and it's great that we live in a city where we have cuisines from around the world available to us. Independent restaurants need to focus on what they are offering is the best price at the best quality with a genuine love for the people of Chester they are feeding.
We would like to take a moment to thank all of our lovely customers over the past 10years, for your custom and friendships. It is a pleasure to us to give you a taste of our heritage!

Congratulations to Tracey and Hugo! It was a fabulous day at La fattoria, full of beautiful people, love and joy.

Wonderful food in a really relaxed atmosphere. It was a hot day and you really could have been in Italy. Until the number 16 to Saltney broke the illusion, but hey ho! Highly recommended for true lovers of Italian food. Try the spaghetti con vongole. Wow!

Went for lunch yesterday with friends and it was very enjoyable. We were warmly welcomed, food excellent we only had the small portions which were ample and some had a sweet which they really enjoyed. WeŌĆÖve booked again.

We went from Warrington to Chester for a nice day out. While we were walking around, weŌĆÖve tried to explore the food-restaurant variations, and weŌĆÖve seen this Italian Restaurant. It is the best Italian Restaurant in the area. WeŌĆÖve checked quite few around (Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Leeds for example) but this one is the best. Pizza pasta was crunchy but soft, not wet, sauce on ŌĆ£SofiaŌĆØ was gorgeous, no extra spices needed (not like in other restaurants where You would put everything in by Yourself), starter was quickly made so it was a ŌĆ£perfect startŌĆØ, and the dessert is well made and served. Of course, my partner has tried their ŌĆ£House Wine (white)ŌĆØ and she was totally satisfied with it.

So no complaints at all, highly recommended if You want to eat in a traditional italian restaurant. Will turn up soon again! : ) < 3

The atmosphere was great food & service excellent. I had the seafood risotto so authentic. We were only in Chester for the night it was recommended by the hotel. It was packed and people waiting so we walked past. We passed about 10 restaurants all empty walked back and waited. They were very accommodating.

One very happy allergy mummy!

My baby has a list of 10 serious allergies, I breastfeed so have to omit all from my diet too.... you can imagine how stressful it is to eat out!

We were welcomed in with open arms and told nothing was too much trouble as itŌĆÖs all made from scratch.

Our list was taken into Chef and he made some suggestions and amended our choices to be safe for us to eat. It was incredible to say the least.

Very very happy customer and we will absolutely return again. Thank you xx

My only problem was the bill and how to read it. It was very embarrassing to have to ask what was what in front of friends so we could check it was correct. To be fair the waitress who didn't serve us explained the bill and it was correct. My husband and friends husband said please, please get draught beer in.

Loved our meals though and will come back. The manager was great in that he saw that we were not pleased with the table we were allocated and swiftly found a perfect one. It was my birthday and I wanted it to be right. Lots of yummies sounds. You were highly recommended.

I come from a region in the USA where there is really good Italian food but not much else, so I shouldn't be eating Italian in Chester, but this place is SO good! I love the food, the waitstaff, and the overall ambiance!

Had a lovely vegan and vegetarian meal last night for my sisters birthday. A real quirky, unique little ŌĆśabroadŌĆÖ style setting ’┐Į lovely people, lovely food, thoroughly enjoyed!

Had a fantastic meal yet again. We have eaten here quite a lot over the years and we have never had a bad meal.

Excellent food and superb service. Very good menu with plenty of choice. Pizzas are made in an open area so you can watch them being prepared and cooked. Clean and tidy. Super for birthdays etc.

Celebration of our son's birthday,there were 13 in our party including our 3 grandchildren ranging from 7months to 10years old. Everyone made welcome,great atmosphere and the food was delicious.

Although the first man who spoke to us when we walked into the restaurant was rude, the rest of the staff was great. The good was absolutely fantastic. The desserts were amazing, also. We'll be back the next time we're in Chester!
