The Workshop is a sewing school located in the home of the luxury costume and made to measure brand La La Rookh, a studio and shop space based on the sunny coast of St Leonards on Sea in East Sussex, run by Anna Winston and a team of tutors offering a diverse range of classes …. The workshops are a vibrant hot spot of creative sewing prowess and the studio has become a place for seamstresses beginner and expert alike to share ideas and expertise … We hold sewing classes for adults and children and social sewing events. We are developing a fashion, arts and craft lending Library for our members. We have a haberdashery department, specializing in vintage garment patterns and we stock modern reproductions too developed by historical pattern company Decades Of Style. We have an ever growing selection of dress fabric from Indian block print cottons to linens and silks and our thread is from the French embroidery specialists, Maison Sajou. Our stock lines are ever growing as the passion for sewing reflects all the new developing products out there, and our class repertoire is expanding all the time so do check back here to find out about our upcoming classes and events…
