The owner and Creative Directorr, Maria Jose Incisa di Camerana is always looking for the best quality materials, so for Summer /Spring, the hats are made with the best straw in the world (toquilla straw) and for the Fall /Winter hats are made with fine wool and rabbit angora wool. Maria Jose was born in Ecuador and when she got married she started a truly life travel with her family around the world. All this unique experience has been the key for her inspiration from several cultures, traditions, languages and places, in fact, her designs reflect the deep love and respect to our cosmopolitan world projected in cool concepts ready-to-wear.

Why the brand name is “La Marqueza”?

This is because Maria Jose got the title of nobility as Marchioness from her husband the Most Hon. Marquess Guglielmo Incisa di Camerana from Italy, when they got married, so they decided to give that name to the brand but with “z” to give the brand a touch from her native roots.
