We had a big family lunch here today - 12 of us including a couple of littlies - and it was just great. Food, service, atmosphere, nothing could be faulted (which frustrated my brother as he loves a good moan) and we can't wait to go again. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommended.

We cannot praise this restaurant enough. Always try to visit when in the area because we are guaranteed excellent service, welcoming atmosphere and food that is simply divine, especially the deserts. One of our all time favourites.

This is one of our go to spots in the Forest the staff are amazing the food is extraordinarily delicious and the ambience is spot on!!! Highly recommend this place for a romantic meal, family occasion or for a meal out with friends 💕

The decor is a little tired and dated, but don’t let that put you off. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is well worth the drive. I’ve eaten here lots of times over the years and never had a bad meal yet.

Lovely Italian restaurant. Great food and great service. Very attentive waiters/waitresses. Deserts to die for and huge so make sure you leave room for one! A little bit pricey but it's worth every penny. Always come here when in Southampton visiting family.

Great restaurant. Just go and experience the friendly atmosphere , the great food and wine, and of course , the amazing desserts. Just make sure you have room because you will want to eat everything !

Fantastic restaurant with the best carbonara I've ever tasted! Amazing puddings and lovely staff. I never fail to go when I'm in the new forest, sadly I live 180 miles away so only 3-4 times a year but my waist line is grateful!!

Amazing food. Amazing prices. Large portions. Beautiful interior with lovely gardens for children and to top it off the staff are absolutely incredible. Nothing is to much trouble for them even when they are rushed off their feet. Cannot recommend anywhere better.

Amazing food, amazing wine and the service was spot on. Didn't feel rushed or pressured and the atmosphere was great. You only had to look around at wide spectrum of ages to know that it was a great place to be...grazi tanti

Absolutely amazing restaurant. It was the first time for myself, my friends and family, joining me in celebrating my 30th birthday. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent and the staff where very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going to La Pergola in the further.

A beautiful setting, amazing and friendly staff, food is THE BEST and the place to go to celebrate or enjoy any occasion - TRY it and I promise you will never regret your choice !!

Really tasty food, lasagne is a favourite! The vegetables with my chicken was a bit dull, but can excuse that as puddings are so yummy, we shared one as too much for one person, lovely comfortable seating area, nice and cozy too.

Really nice meal, staff excellent, very busy and noisy so maybe not for a romantic meal on a Saturday night! But meal with family and friends perfect. X

The food as always was amazing.

Unfortunately they no longer serve the vegetables silver service and it didn't look very appealing (mashed potatoes although tasted great).

We had a late sitting and were sat in quite a dim corner which very quickly got dark and although the staff commented on it nothing was done to rectify it, they could have offered to light the wick in the bottle but alas no so dessert was eaten in the dark.
