When my husband and I decided on a date before the Christmas madness really takes hold, we were happy that we got the last table with you on Thursday evening. Absolutely amazing, every dish we were served at the first mouthful had us sitting back in our chair saying wow!! Can’t really find the words but a fantastic dining experience and pleasant, friendly and informative staff as well. Sat Bains better watch out. Thank you for a great evening xx

We managed to get a last minute cancellation for 2 of us. From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible. We decided on a main and dessert which was beautifully presented and definately food to talk about. We will certainly be back.

We had the 7 course taster menu and it was fantastic! Everything was delicious, the staff were very knowledgable about the dishes and we’re incredibly helpful. A superb evening. Highly recommend to everyone!

We had lunch at La Rock yesterday and it was as good if not better than our first visit. Everything was perfect from front of house, to the delicious, imaginative food and lovely ambiance! We really love this place and are amazed that it hasn't won more accolades. M. Michelin, where are you?!

Can't wait for our next visit!

We had an incredible meal last night to celebrate my daughter's graduation. The food is exciting, inventive and beautifully presented. My twenty year old son was moved to say that it was the best meal he had ever had. In addition the service is attentive, friendly and professional without being intrusive. We will be back.

It’s our first visit but we will definitely return.

The food was delicious(the chocolate pudding was divine)and the service excellent.

To celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary, we'd promised ourselves the tasting menu and we were not disappointed. Each course was excellently presented, well cooked and tasty with a description given by the server. There was a fantastic atmosphere and we will definitely be going back. Well done to all-we couldn't have been more pleased.

Thank you to Daiva and the team for making our anniversary meal so special and the personal touch of a lavender sprig each, was so thoughtful. La Rock is such a fabulous restaurant and despite many travels abroad nowhere can beat the excellent food and service!

I went to La Rock today with members of my family to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, from start to finish the whole experience was exceptional, the food was amazing, service was first class and the staff could not do enough for us, very attentive, even down to letting me drop off some table decorations the day before, which were beautifully placed ready for us to celebrate, cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, thank you for making our Celebrations so special ❤️ x

Dining at La Rock is an experience, not just a meal in a nice restaurant! If you are out to impress your guests this is the place to do it. The decor and atmosphere, rich and full of class.

The food is delicious, the staff are well informed and attentive. To find a restaurant of this standard in this part of the country is a welcomed surprise.
