Went last night for the first time with a big group of girls, we ended up spending our full night in there the place was insane! Music was unreal. Atmosphere was amazing!!

Visited here for the first time this afternoon. Fabulous place, very welcoming and hospitable down to the management and the staff. Loraine a very friendly member of staff. Beautiful weather, perfect place to soak up the sun with a cocktail. My dog was welcome too. Small place with big personality.

Sat at home wondering what we could do to spice up our Saturday night and decided to pop along to this hidden jem! What a fabulous couple of hours we had, beautiful drinks, friendly staff and an awesome DJ!



Beautiful little Cuban bar, with a lovely theme and comfy seats!



Will definitely be returning, especially for "pre drinks" before hitting the town, the DJ doesn't fail to get you in a great mood!!

Popped in on the off chance of having a meal.wasn't really sure what was on offer. Can happily say that myself,husband and kids were not disappointed. We had tapas.which is fantastic.lots of flavour. We left very satisfied.!! Attentive and friendly staff. Will defiantly be returning, but without kids so we can try the cocktails.

Me and my partner loved it when we went the drinks are strong which I was pleased about. You could taste the strong alcohol in the cocktail's which for me is what you want when you pay for a decent cocktail. The atmosphere was good as well decent music been played and was busy so didn't mind waiting to get a drink. Friendly atmosphere when we were in so would definitely go back again and love the fact that their is something different in Redcar.

Me and my partner have been here on a number of occasions and have always found the bar staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The bar has always been clean and tidy with a friendly atmosphere. On one occasion the lock on the ladies toilet was broke but after notifying the owner this was rectified straight away. There is a variety of drinks from lager, cider, wine, spirits, champagne and cocktails. Last time I visited la rum bar I was drinking cider and the bar staff recommended I try a cider cocktail something a little bit different and it was lovely very refreshing. Whether you want a quiet couple of drinks or some music to dance too I would highly recommend la rum bar.

Just called in for a quick lunch with hubby. Staff were so friendly and the food was amazing! The Cuban girl who prepared the food was so lovely and asked if there was anything we didn't like within the panini and she would change it. The panini was amazing and have to say the best I've ever hand, it's the original Cuban sandwhich and all the ingredients work so well together.

Definitely work a visit and support our local businesses. We are looking forward to going back and trying other bits off the menu. X

Had some amazing home made Cuban tapas which is freshly made every day- the croquettes were amazing and the rices are delicious!

Afterwards we stayed for the FREE Salsa class which was great fun. Claudia is a great teacher and is really good with beginners and advanced dancers alike.

Would definitely recommend the cocktails too - beautifully presented and amazing tasting - couldn't resist having a few!

Will definitely be back - we were greeted like family and had a great night.

Had an amazing night . Salsa dance class, cocktails and tapas for £20. The service was excellent and the dancing was brilliant. A workout on its own. I would like to thank the staff and owner for a great night and would recommend to all my friends . A night with a difference. YOU MUST TRY IT xxxxx

Had a great evening here with my husband. The staff and service is 10/10. The cocktails are fantastic. Will definitely be going back.

Had a fantastic start to our night here, lovely lovely friendly staff, couldnt have been given better service.the cocktails were amazing, especially the lemon top done to ladies own recipe 🍹

First time Friday, friendly helpful staff, lovely chill house well mixed, so were the real cocktails, pinacolada in a coconut glass, great, worth the money... and in Redcar who would have thought it...

Came here on Saturday night just to see what it was like and my god want an excellent end to my day/night out. Staff are so friendly, music was the best and the atmosphere was unreal. Definately going to plan a night out here again soon. Keep up the good work.

Called in on Friday afternoon with our dog Zak and were made more than welcome. Really lovely attentive staff. We had the Cuban sandwich and it was 5* and would recommend it. Drinks also 5*. Try the pinacider it's delicious. We will deffinatly be back.

Attended a salsa night here last night, the staff at the bar were really friendly, and the lady who taught us salsa was excellent, both were very enthusiastic and cheered us on! Will definently be returning and would recommend!

Finally paid a visit. We all ordered Mojito's, which were so extraordinarily strong that half of us couldn't drink them! But the bar staff were so nice when I went to the bar to ask if they could maybe sweeten mine up a bit; he added something to it, but was still awful. Then when I went to the bar to buy a pint of lager instead, he didn't charge me. Great service, nice atmosphere, nice place.

Having been to cuba / Havana twice I was excited to pay a visit. Went Saturday night before going for a meal nearby. Ordered a strawberry bramle which was mainly ice, not much taste (the glass was nice). Can't remember what the hubby got but tasted like a pina colada (he didn't order a pc) found it to be expensive, not alot of atmosphere (although it was early) staff were friendly though. Not saying I'd never go again but wouldn't be my 1st choice. Disappointed.

Fine if your happy to order from a relatively small menu, when I asked for my favourite cocktail out came a phone to Google it and I was told they had none of the ingredients....

Nice atmosphere despite some of the the other customers. Cocktails in my very limited experience were not great and very overpriced. Fine for a single visit but doubt long term if it will stand the test of time.

All that said I wish them good luck in the future and hope it all works out.
