We had a lovely evening celebrating my father's birthday. The staff, as usual, were very friendly. We were warmly greeted, Service was excellent, and all our group enjoyed the food. Thank you for the extra touches that made the birthday special.

We came to your restaurant on Saturday night for our wedding anniversary,we loved it thankyou,the meals are lovely,staff are really friendly and we have been a few times,it's one of our favorite places for meals out,we are going to bring our two children next time and show them how good it is.

Took 9 of the family including a 8 week old baby to celebrate her birth.also great grandads birthday.we had a fantastic night the food was delicious every plate went back to kitchen empty.Staff are very friendly & service excellent.would recommend it to everyone.xx

The atmosphere and staff were lovely, the quality of the foods are really good, have really enjoyed my.visit tonight.

My daughter & 13 of her friends had her 16th birthday meal here last night & they were excellent, the food arrived quickly & was lovely, the host vinny was excellent,attentive & chatty. They gave my daughter a free dessert as it was her birthday. Nothing was too much trouble they put banners & balloons up. As young girls with no parents/adults present, they really looked after this rowdy bunch of girls. Thank u so much for making our girls night perfect �

First time there for a while, the early bird menu is an absolute bargain being on until 10pm!

Brilliant place love the relaxed atmosphere and brilliant food and not over priced.the pasta dishes are to die for .

Always a fanstastic experience at La Scala real Italian food and a friendly and authentic atomosphere and if your going for the early evening special don't expect small portions of the pasta's wow !!

Early bird menu we went for lovely food 3 courses good choice of starter and main but not a great choice of dessert friend had tiramisu I had apple pie totally different portion sizes 3 people went service a little slow but over all a lovely meal

Another good night for family birthday. Only fault down in back room with another party and lots of noise. Otherwise enjoyed by all, good food, good service, good staff, all adds up to good night Thank You x

We were sat in the back room and next to what seemed loud people - but although they were loud it was the room that was the problem - no soft furnishings and hard and cold to be in - been many times in the past - wouldn't go again - food was ok and pricey for what it was we thought �

We arranged it at the last minute and the staff where happy to fit a booking for three people on a Saturday evening. Had a warm welcome and asked to go to the bar. It was very busy but after just 10 minutes we were shown to our table. The staff are pleasant and attentive . The food was hot and served quickly , however the desserts are not what I expected. Looks pre packed / shop bought and this was a negative otherwise all good! We had sticky toffee pudding/ cheesecake and chocolate truffle ice cream( this had ice crystals in it suggesting it's been frozen/ slightly thawed out then re frozen?

Would never return after the horrific impatient rude arrogant service we received. Especially off the big fella who I assume has some sort of authority, and my god doesn't he just know it. The older lady who took the cash, was absolutely clueless! Apparently you can't have a tab either and have to pay 50p extra per drink for using your card.. absolutely stupid! No one had a clue, we had about 5 different people seeing yo us. There was one man, absolutely lovely, talked about his 5 sons. Now he knows what customer service is, big thumbs up to him.

After reading the '1 hygiene rating' off scores on the doors in may this year, I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. How wrong were we!

Obviously not all staff but some staff were rude, a party of more than ten, we were told to pay 10 percent service charge on top of our food bill, food was of very poor quality. Seated in a very cold conservatory and felt rushed and unwelcome because of our children, even though it was a birthday celebration for a one year old, which the staff knew!! Awful, definitely would never go again

Not the best food was over priced especially pitza 's used to be great very poor won't go again and the early bird menu not much to choose ☹️
