Italian cuisine has long been emblematic of the tradition of gathering around a table and breaking bread with friends and relatives, and when you dine with us you are treated like family too.
That idea isn’t exactly transferrable to a model that has people racing through a cafeteria-style, choose-your-topping line before scurrying back to work to inhale their food at a desk. And then there’s the issue of quality. Nobody wants to eat soggy or brittle pasta, but finding the pe...rfect consistency for noodles means operating within a very small window of cook time to achieve that al-dente texture.
It’s proved difficult to serve a uniform pasta for customers who expect Chipotle-level speed and quality while also managing a persnickety spaghetti noodle.

Went here with my partner for our 10 year anniversary, and absolutely loved the place. It is cosy and inviting, the food was delicious, and the staff very friendly. Hoping to go again soon.

Went here by chance this evening not knowing anything about it-just that we fancied italian food. Brilliant service and even though we hadnt booked we were fully welcomed on a busy pay weekend. Food was beautiful, i had rack of lamb and husband had swordfish... both meals were perfect! We shall definitely be returning. Well done :)

Went for a meal here for the 1st time on Sunday at 5:45pm. Restaurant was busy for that time of the day. Seated straight away and the decor was very nice. Drink and food menu had plenty of choice with the specials on the mirrors on the walls also. Bread and olives for starters was great. Penne Arriola for main ample and very tasty. Rum baba for desert was just amazing!! Anyone who goes has got to try it. Service was really good and plenty of waiters looking after everyone but not hassling anyone at all. Felt very cosy and comfortable. Also everyone seemed to go home with doggy bags for all the food they could not manage as the portions were so big. Prices very reasonable as well. Loved this place and will be back for sure and would recommend to anyone!!

We had Christmas dinner here yesterday and it was excellent. Service was very good and the food was amazing only 1 tiny complaint some of the potatoes were hard but apart from that it was all lovely. We were in the first sitting at 12pm and the 2nd sitting was 3 pm but we were never rushed. Would definitely consider going back again

This restaurant is spot on, from the clean modern decor, the fantastic attentive service, to the out of this world food! Cannot believe we didn't discover it sooner. The staff are so friendly, welcoming & accommodating. This restaurant puts many local over priced and over rated eateries to shame. We'll be back very soon.

This restaurant is always buzzing with a great atmosphere. The food is always of great quality - you can't go wrong with the garlic bread and cheese to start with a pasta dish. Great value for money!

One of our favourite restaurants. Consistently high standard of food. Lovely fresh pasta. Good specials and fresh fish. And of course the traditional Italian favourites and the usual steaks and meat choices. Friendly and welcoming service. An asset for Leigh on Sea.

Just moved to the area so me and my husband decided to try La Sirena. It was a very pleasant night. Outstanding service, waiters/waitress very friendly. Superb food and amazing dessert!!

Ideally located in wonderful Leigh Road, plenty of places to stop for a pre drink. we had great food, fantastic choice on the menu, lovely wine, really enjoyed the house red, in if balloon glass, sensible price, good atmosphere, staff got the right balance of checking on you. It was quite busy, but we didn't have to wait to long between courses, good size portions, i passed on the pudding, but the choice seemed appetising but as I am more into my savoury I would really recommend you check them out for yourself.

Worth booking as often seems very full later in the week and at the weekend.

Good value for money, just wish I could afford to go out more often.

Can't praise them enough, especially as there is lots of competition around.

Highly recommended, especially for Christmas party or meals.

Do a very competitive Sunday lunch, kids will love it.

If the sun is shining good seating area out the front.

Had an amazing lunch yesterday for Christmas Eve. Excellent service and food! Only complaint was not being able to read the specials board with the white writing on a mirror! Kir Royal and house white wine were very good.

Greeted warmly and shown to our table, décor was modern and comfortable, ordered the seafood sharing starter which was excellent and lovely presentation, we both had salmon dishes for mains and both were very tasteful and again well presented, waiters were attentive and accommodating throughout, despite being full from the ample portions we took a look at the dessert menu but couldn't resist the delicious cheesecake, left very contented and cant wait to return.

Great venue, Nice decor, food range and specials are excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient. Highly reccomend

From the minute you walk in the door....you are greeted like a long lost friend. The service is exceptional and the food even more so.....i watched many beautiful desserts go by but had shared a platter and devoured Pollo La Sirena so there was simply no more room....next time I'll skip the starter .....wonderful evening ...will return �
