came here for the first time for mothers day yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. food was beautiful (especially my desert) and staff were lovely and very friendly . will definitely come back

Why have we not been here before!!!

An absolute gem of a place. The food is just perfection. Calamari.... Best I have ever had. I think my husband and I will become regulars. Maybe get a taxi next time...

Also, the service was fantastic, so welcoming, attentive and friendly. I can't fault it. Thank you!!!

What a fantastic little gem! Stayed here last week whilst visiting the area. Messaged 2 nights before arriving and was given a beautiful family room. The service and friendliness were excellent, especially from the owner. We were very lucky to be offered a table in the busy restaurant for dinner which was delicious, and had our deserts delivered to our room by the lovely waitress. Breakfast the next morning was freshly cooked to order, with a great supply of croissants, cereal, fruit and yoghurts which the kids loved! nothing was too much trouble! The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves also :-)Thanks for a wonderful stay! X

Went here last nite for my father-in-laws 60th birthday the staff were really welcoming and the food was amaizing, the staff even sang happy birthday brill night enjoyed by us all. �

Went for my niece's birthday this evening....food was fabulous and the staff so friendly and helpful..amazing place,will definitely be going again

We have just left after our valentines meal. We had to see what all the hype was about online about this place and we were not disapointed! Lovely staff, extremely quick service, and amazing prices for the very tasty food. Without a doubt the best italian restuarant i have been to in the North East. Will be coming back again for sure.

Visit regularly so must be good. Wide choice of food and lovely special board as well. It’s always busy so recommend you book although I have phoned up and been given a table same night.

Food always well presented and hot thoroughly recommend. Staff are alway pleasant and boss is really nice too no one is overpowering.

Thank you so much ... we came on 29/6/18 for my son’s 10th birthday ... he wanted to return after previous visits . You made his night so special and were very attentive to detail . Thank you for the added touch of a candle on his sweet and staff singing happy birthday to him ... even customers joined in ! Fantastic place , amazing food , brilliant staff ! My husband and I had a beautiful meal there last night, service was spot on everyone very helpful,food tremendous,gin and prosecco cocktail even better � definitely recommend to family and friends and we will definitely be back �

I went for lunch yesterday 22 March with my wife, daughter and grandson. Although we hadn’t booked we were made to feel very welcome and a table was quickly found for us. The restaurant was busy but with a really good atmosphere and the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. We opted for the Special Lunchtime menu with starters and mains which were substantial and delicious at a very reasonable cost. We hadn’t been before but will certainly be back. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere in this cute restaurant, my brother and his wife took me here for a treat, wasn’t disappointed, the food was lovely and well presented, all the staff were pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you, loved it . Will definitely return and take the rest of my family

A lovely busy restaurant, packed on a Monday!! Good selection of food on the menu and pleasant friendly and attentive staff. Very reasonably priced. We had a fabulous meal celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and a cheesecake with a candle in to celebrate as a gift from the house was much appreciated. We will certainly be back.
