We have just spent a few days in Liverpool, and on our last night we visited La Vina. I can honestly say this is the nicest meal IŌĆÖve had in along time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food itŌĆÖs self is very authentic.

Visited here whilst staying in Liverpool for a few days and it did not disappoint. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the food was exceptional, the live music was brilliant and we canŌĆÖt wait to return.

The service was exceptional, the staff were so so friendly and couldn't do enough to help celebrate my friends birthday!

The food is lovely and such amazing value for money -we got the 3 tapas dishes and drink for ┬Ż10. Will be visiting again for sure ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

My partner and I spent New Years Eve here and had an amazing time!

I would highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic Spanish vibe in cosy and atmospheric surroundings.

Have a meal here this evening with my husband. Lovely restaurant, good portion sizes, great service and good value for money. 6 out of 7 tapas dishes were perfect. Unfortunately the prawns were over cooked and only luke warm when delivered. Spoke to our waiter who apologised and took them off the bill. Overall we really enjoyed the food, drinks and service. We will definitely return and hopefully next time we can award 5 stars.

First time at La Vi├▒a and really enjoyed the experience. A good Spanish style and atmosphere set the scene for an excellent meal. Had a good selection of tapas (three choices each) accompanied with a pleasant young Rioja. My wife felt that the chicken was dry, but it was fine for me. For pud we had churos with chocolate and dulce de leche and I had cappuccino with ponce. They only had ponce Caballero (de Soto is the best, with Osborne as a good runner up) but that was fine. Service was just right. All in all, a great lunch. Could have been a 5 Star, but try to reserve those for when everything is truly outstanding.

Ate here for the first at the weekend, tapas was all tasty and we also tried a sherry flight. Unfortunately we were overcharged for this on the bill, we pointed this out and it was rectified.

Went yesterday with a couple of friends, VERY slow service, waited a long time for drinks to arrive and even longer for our food.... had to send one dish back, we asked for well done and it came out mooing..... Rest of the food was nice but donŌĆÖt think IŌĆÖd personally rush back !

We felt a bit rushed, as hadn't finished our starters before mains arrived, and were in and out in an hour! Food was average, but paella was disappointing especially the chicken that wasn't cooked through. We complained and were offered free desserts but it had left us feeling a bit queasy so declined. Would go back but probably stick to Tapas next time.

Hostess was amazing managed to convince me to wait an hour for a table (on a Saturday understandable) got table had to wait 30 minutes for food and drink service. Was evidently clear that both kitchen and restaurant staff were under staffed (which canŌĆÖt be helped) however clocked the manager on a few occasions who didnŌĆÖt get his hands dirty once. As a manager myself you jump in when your ship is sinking. Waited a further 30 minutes to receive 3 out of 6 tapas plates the finally after a further 15 got the last plate: chicken dishes were dry and un exciting, mushrooms inedible and chorizo nearly made my better half sick. That been said the male bartender was fantastic. Menu needs actual flavour and manager is lucky he has decent staff, he really needs to learn to rota or recruit efficiently to not allow for this. Overall nice experience but could have been so much better.

We came here because we was given a voucher for Xmas and it was the best of a bunch of chains. We ordered the charcuterie, tomato topped bread, pork cheeks and baby squid. WHAT A LET DOWN! The meat and cheese was plated up so boringly in rows and the cheese plonked either end. IŌĆÖve had better in a pack from Tesco and it was ┬Ż15! Rip off! The tomato bread was very bland and nothing to it. The pork cheeks wer swimming in grease. And the baby squid was embarrassing! All messed up and stuck together. Just the whole meal was such a let down. Not worth the money and I wonŌĆÖt return
