After receiving a cease and desist letter recently from Seedlip & Diageo over the use of Nolo as a name for our low alcohol spirit our bottles are looking sad and empty.
However, we had a little fun in our reply.
“It’s a shame Seedlip couldn't find a way to co exist and if we thought both you and Diageo had a sense of humour we would suggest you to bog off.
... As we don't have the resource to fight this despite thinking it wrong that you have been able to trademark so many names that define the category.
It seems that Diageo has gone out with its army of lawyers and laid claim to the vast majority of ‘no' and ‘low’ alcohol trade marks, including the 'No-groni', Nolo, etc. How many of those will ever actually be used is anyone’s guess. Moves like this are designed to shut off other people's opportunities as much as protect their own.
We wish Seedlip and Diageo all the best in the future , Peas & love to all.”

We’ll be distilling the product and holding a tasting where you guys get to help us further develop the product and tell us what you expect from the low and no alcohol category.

right from the second we rocked up , warmly welcomed by a very friendly and informative doorman, which is already a welcome change from the norm, who would have thought as we walked downstairs and the curtains went back, what a fun night we would have , great service , cocktails were amazing , venue is uber cool , sure to be back ..

Very nice and comfortable bar, we were there last night and we met the owner, Willy. Plus the doorman was really chilled and cool.

Ladies & Gentlemen is the best bar in London. The cocktails are outstanding. The bar staff are terrifically good looking & the proprietor is a genius.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The cocktails are not only reasonably priced (by London standards) but they are refreshingly innovative. If something from the menu doesn't strike your fancy the bartenders are always happy to make a classic or even make something to your liking. Staff are always professional and friendly, and the cool vibe is always welcoming. 10/10 would return (and very often do).
