We LOVE blueberries in our house, we pack them in porridge, salads and lunchboxes every week.
Blueberries have long been known as a superfood for their positive impact on heart health, brain function and numerous other aspects of your body.
And being about 85% water, they’re also low in calories which makes them a perfect snack for dieters.

Somewhere inside of you, there's a little firecracker with her arms folded and a frown on her face.
She isn't happy about all the times you said no when you wanted to say yes.... All the times you said yes when you wanted to say no.
She wanted you to buy the ticket. She wanted you to take that trip. She definitely wanted you to take that risk - the one that may have just opened a whole new world.
She wants you to remember what it feels like to run to the sea without a care in the world and splash and laugh till you ache. To face the day without a fear in your heart and embrace every opportunity that comes.
She doesn't understand why you won't wear the bikini. She doesn't understand why you won't eat the cake. She doesn't understand why you don't let it go. She definitely doesn't understand why you accept second best.
Somewhere inside there is a little girl who wonders at the adult you've become..
She still has many things she wants to learn and so many people still to meet. She still has dresses she wants to wear and parties she wants to dance at. She still has places she wants to visit and wonders she wants to stare at.

Healthy eating doesn’t need to cost the earth. We got 2 large punnets (much bigger than supermarkets) of blueberries and raspberries for only £3. Huge amount of vine cherry tomatoes for £2 and all those beans for £1.50.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme this year is Body Image.
The stats from the latest research is heartbreaking (copied below).
This is a shout out to all of you feeling shit, depressed, anxious, shameful and hateful towards yourself and your body. We send love and hope and healing because we've been trapped there too before ❤️
... Just know that there is a way out. Reach out for help. Speak to someone who cares. Speak to someone who's been there. Focus on your good qualities (yes you have them!). Eat to nourish your body. Find a way to move that makes your body happy. Read inspiring books. Follow body-positive people (not those girls in bikinis with 6-packs). Get rid of the apps and magazines that make you feel less.
You are enough ❤️
For those of you who are lucky enough to feel great about yourself....spread that love to those who need it ❤️
New online surveys were conducted by the Mental Health Foundation with YouGov in March 2019 of 4,505 UK adults 18+ and 1,118 GB teenagers (aged 13-19).
The results highlighted that:
- One in five adults (20%) felt shame, just over one third (34%) felt down or low, and 19% felt disgusted because of their body image in the last year.
- Among teenagers, 37% felt upset, and 31% felt ashamed in relation to their body image.
- Just over one third of adults said they had ever felt anxious (34%) or depressed (35%) because of their body image.
- One in eight (13%) adults experienced suicidal thoughts or feelings because of concerns about their body image.
- Just over one in five adults (21%) said images used in advertising had caused them to worry about their body image.
- Just over one in five adults (22%) and 40% of teenagers said images on social media caused them to worry about their body image.
