Raga Boyz at Dera enjoying Delicious 🥘 Dinner 🥘

User

best food in town by far.

You have to wait a little, but you end up getting a lot.

They understand the importance for good food, and that is all that matters to true food lovers.

Went this evening and was not disappointed. The food was fresh and the service was excellent. The waiter Saad had excellent customer service skills and was accommodating. Will definitely return thoroughly enjoyed my evening out with friends.

Really delicious food with great service and wonderful atmosphere. The staff went the extra mile to accommodate as it was a family birthday, bringing out a cake to music, the whole restaurant joined in singing, had a really great time.

Absolutely amazing food and really good service. Ordered the whole leg of lamb and couldn't be happier with the finished product. The staff and management are very friendly and customer centric and have always looked after us on our visits

Kulcha = nice fluffy had good weight nicely baked.

Roghni nan = not very fluffy but tasted fine correctly baked.

Nihari = correct viscosity, tender meat chunks and it tasted as it is supposed to.

Chicken boneless biryani = deliciously cooked just right spices rice with small chunks of chicken.

Mango lassi = properly made and tastes delicious.

Lamb chops = tender moderately spiced cooked just enough to be tender and succulent.

We have been to this restaurant a few times now. The standard has fallen badly. It has v poor hygiene and bathrooms are a disgrace. I was shocked by the state of the dirtiness. The food used to be excellent but definitely has fallen in standard. I’ll not be going again 👎🏼

User

The hall/dining area was very presentable and attractive.

Has parking in the back.

On entrance, got a bottle of water.

Service was good.

That’s about all the nice things I can say about this restaurant.

Ordered poppadoms, all the sauces were watered down and tasted like nothing, apart from the onion one which cannot be watered down (lucky us).

Ordered 4 mains, with rice and naans. All the curries were again, watered down. One was just like a lamb stock soup with a few bones in it for decoration. Chicken tasted like it was overboiled. EXTREMELY overpriced considering the taste and quality. I’ve eaten much better food from a local takeaway. Around £5 for a serving of rice! As they don’t even provide plain rice, we had to get a “special masala rice” aka pilauf rice.

From all the other good reviews, I feel like we missed something?? Considering the restaurant wasn’t busy at all, we were the only customers. I think they could’ve done so much better. I hope I won’t regret eating here tomorrow morning.

User

Poor service, rude staff, We ordered nehari which was tasteless, chicken tikka was rocking hard when I complained to the staff he didn't bother and walked off. Prices are different than the menu.Totally ripp off. Won't go again.

User

Over priced , food was not great, lamb Karahi Tastes bad was smell in meat, menu not great at all. The food was highly salted. Would not recommend.

User

In brief sort out your waiters, managers need to be more presentable. Definitely over priced. On the last few occasions it’s been like a ghost town. You really need to up your game. No point having a nice looking restaurant when the quality of food is in decline.
