We had the most incredible wedding day here in May. From start to finish everyone was so professional, they really made the day easy for us. The barn was so beautiful and we feel so lucky that we can say we got married here!

We had our wedding at Lains Barn on Friday 4th November and it was just perfect from start to finish. Nigel and Katie were so helpful and we didn't even have to think about what happened next throughout the day as they'd already sorted it! Such a brilliant venue, all our guests commented on how beautiful it was - would definitely recommend without a second thought to anyone that wants to know!

We got married here in August 2016 and couldn't fault a thing. We only had 3 months to plan our wedding and they bent over backwards to help us out and were never more than an e-mail or call away. The venue itself is stunning and barely needed any additions, just the few bits to give it a personal touch as it really speaks for itself. The food was of a very high quality through out and nobody went home hungry, we had the hog roast and it was brought out and carved in front of you which was a nice touch. From planning to on the day the team did a fantastic job on making sure all our needs were met and everything went without a hitch. We really can't recommend Lains Barn enough as they truely made our special day one we will never forget

Perfect for weddings and family celebrations. A large oak beamed barn with a balcony that looks stunning and is very romantic. Double doors leading to a large, well maintained lawn where guests can take the evening air. Separate bar with seating. The Pie Master menu is amazing. Tasty, wholesome and plentiful and the assignment of one guest per table to be the 'Pie Master' is inspired. Great fun. Staff are extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. 5* all the way.

Our wedding day at Lains Barn was absolutely amazing. The venue is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to use the outside area due to the fantastic weather. This was great for the canapé reception as it allowed us to easily mingle with our guests.

The food was delicious throughout the day and the venue accommodated the various dietary requirements without any problems. Lots of our guests commented on how delicious the rack of lamb was.

The staff on the day were fantastic at making sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our day. For us, this was the perfect wedding venue.

Our granddaughter and her fiancé fell in love with Lains Barn and chose it for their wedding. I was in charge of proceedings and was nervous but everyone was so helpful and friendly it made my job easy. It is the most fantastic venue for a wedding, having the large outside area was perfect for the little ones and we had great weather too. Thank you all for an amazing and perfect day with no hitches - the Hog Roast was superb.

Lains Barn provided us with an exceptional venue at which to have our wedding, both the ceremony and the reception. The staff there were so accommodating during the viewings, they went above and beyond to cater to the many ideas we had to personalise our wedding. Communication was great, and they were always quick to respond.



On the day, all staff were not only very professional, but very warm and welcoming to all our guests. They did an amazing job to ensure the day ran very smoothly and according to plan. The few surprise hiccups that did arise were dealt with so well, meaning no one was left unhappy! Everything was made to feel personal and friendly which was exactly the feel we wanted. The venue itself was extremely popular with our guests, we received so many comments on how beautiful it was. There’s excellent space both inside and out, with places for people to find their own little corner, but never too far away that they get lost or become isolated from the party. To us the fact that Lains Barn is in a remote location was a massive plus, as it made it all feel very intimate and enclosed, and we had the space to do whatever we wanted without restrictions from other buildings or venues. Transport to and from was extremely easy to sort out too.



All in all the whole experience with Lains was perfect, their priority was always to make sure we were happy and they couldn’t have done a better job. We both enjoyed our day immensely and the venue and staff were a big part of that!

Just the perfect venue to host your special day and evening event.. Ours was my sons wedding breakfast and evening party, decorate it your way, lots of room indoors and outdoors ample parking. Catering staff, bar staff and hosts are all top class, excellent food throughout.. Very attentive they make you feel so special. Thank you for your involvement on this perfect day.

I can't even begin to express how much we loved Lains. We fell in love with it on our first visit, and Rachel, Martin and Claire were friendly, professional and really good to an increasingly panicked couple over the booking and planning process. The day itself went off perfectly, and Rachel was the perfect coordinator for everything. The food and wine was excellent. Would recommend to anyone wanting a rustic wedding in a beautiful setting.

Had an amazing day at Lains Barn yesterday for my daughter's wedding. The whole experience was fabulous. The barn looked beautiful, with fairy lights, lanterns, gauze swags, beautiful floral decorations ( Flowers by Kirsty) & lovely hanging baskets around the grass courtyard.

The staff ( Nigel & Claire) were magnificent & organised everything seamlessly. Such a fabulous group of staff, making everyone feel special. The food was lovely, one friend of mine on Facebook giving it 11/10! The experience on this special day could not have been better. Thank you so much!

Great venue. We had our wedding here on 1st July 2017. Excellent service from the staff. These guys know their staff and will go out of their way to make your day special. We were very impressed by their expertise, friendly and supportive attitude. They made everything so easy and we felt really looked after. The food was excellent. I would recommend this place to any couple that want a truly stress free wedding experience.
