Dave Miles caught this whopper mirror carp this week his net size was 42" his catch 32lb. Not such a great picture on his mobile but they all count. Well done.

Please can you still donate any money you can to Gordon he needs your help. The council have packed him off to Charities for clothes but he is still homeless. Any donation will help him buy a second hand mobile home.

Please can you donate anything to help Gordon get back on his feet as he will need a home.

What an amazing place to fish, holiday and generally be alive. Waking to the peace and relaxing, beautiful grounds was the tip of the iceberg. Beautiful fish and very friendly staff, owners and fellow fisherman. Would highly recommend. The yurt was well worth the money and the fishing was well worth our time. My partner decided to sign up as a member before we left and already can’t wait to get back out there! It’s just a shame we have to go back to the day job and kids... back to reality from this small slice of heaven!

What a beautiful find this was. Booked this last Xmas for my partner as a present and waited till now but wow absolutely stunning, the pod was everything that you needed and very quaint. Downside was only booked 1 night, next time 2/3 nights.. lakes were stunning and managed to catch a few. Can’t wait to return.

Took my 9 year old down today and what a lovely place to be. Lofty was very helpful as we are newcomers and everyone there was friendly. Will be back for sure.

This was a 2 day break for my birthday and a complete surprise on so many levels.

I didn't know where I as going, only that I was being whisked away on an adventure... and it was amazing!!



As we turned into the car park all I kept saying was wow, wow, wow, wow,wow!!



We turned into the most beautiful scene of yurts, trees, lakes and wildlife I could have imagined and it just got better.

Sue was so polite when she greeted us and gave us a tour which was most appreciated.



The yurt we stayed in was amazing... the quirky but perfect finishes in decoration just made it so stunning and combined with the kitchen, bathroom, open space and the hot tub only added to the experience - I'd never seen such a pretty combination!

Having then seen the chickens, ducks and other feathered friends I was in my absolute element.



The fishing lakes were fantastic and despite the rain, the day was still absolutely amazing and with the company of 5 chickens for a good part of the day I actually felt like the chicken whisperer!!



I can't thank Gary and Lofty enough for their fishing advice and help and just their overall kindness in general... Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome.

I will definitely be back xx

This place is amazing cleanest lakes i have ever seen. The owners are really good helpful people very frendly full off useful info �..just to top it off i had a new pb 33.00lbs mirror what a beast looked like a real old chunk to dark scaly mirror well done to lakelands defo be back again very soon ���

Realy wish i could give a 10 star rating, just got home from staying in bluebell yurt for 2 nights for our wedding ann, sue, gary and specialy lofty, youre all doing a grand job with the place im so happy my wife found you online, the fishing was amazing and both me and my wife both beat our personal best for tench, defo want to come back next year and have a crack at the big lake, thank you for providing such a great resting and fishing location, i will highly recomend you guys

My wife and I are happy to share our impressions from visiting Laekland Fishry not far form London. We went there in early May 2017. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with warm and tasteful hospitality.



The accommodation there is really cool - in a real Mongolian Yurt, which looked really spacious and comfy. It even has a huge jacuzzi, which sounds like a great idea on a chilly evening after a day of fishing.



We particularly loved all of the birds on the property, we loved watching the ducks and geese during our walks arounds the lakes. They are very friendly, some would even take the bread gently from our hands. The fishing there looked fantastic. The variety and quantity of fish is really impressive. You can fish with anything from corn to bread and be really happy with your catch.



Overall, we are really grateful to Sue and Gary for a wonderful time, the comfort and hospitality, the atmosphere of bliss, perfect for rest and relaxation. Thank you very much. We are looking forward to visiting you again.

Me and my partner stayed in the Lilly lake yurt and will definitely be coming back such a beautiful place and so nice to fish where it is so looked after we couldn't of asked for any more

The fish, as well as grounds are really well looked after, and the owners are clearly reinvesting more than the fisheries revenue to bring great improvements for all of its visitors benefits.



All the staff are friendly and give you the best advice for the lake that you are fishing, and with 'Swan lake' now becoming a day ticket water, you can now chose between all 3 lakes, and apart from the big carp in 'Swan lake', there are some cracking sized silver fish that have been hidding away unnoticed and are now ready for the picking!



Keep up the great work 'Lakelands Fishery' and I'll be seeing you soon!

I have bin on more commercials in England but i have never seen such a beautiful fishing water en nature than on Lakeland Fishery. Gary en his mate will inform you to help you catch some big carp en other fish. The service they give is famous. I had a great week when i was there, i will thank both guys for there service en the help. Good job guys. If i come to england to fish again, ik wiil find you. THANKS MATE. !!!!

Had the most amazing stay at he hideaway pod for my partners birthday! So much thought and love gone into your lake! We loved it so much and will 1000% be returning! And also trying out the yurts! Thankyou xx

Fished last week on 48hrs first time I’ve fished what a quality place to fish very clean fantastic facilities, the owner Gary such a top man loads of advice, I can’t say enough about this place, plus the fish in here are real quality well looked after I had 10 fish in 48hrs biggest was 19.4 so well happy with that. 🎣🎣

Fished Lakeland few times now can't recommend it enough to friends what a fantastic venue clean tidy and banged out with decent carp!! Fabulous Bluebell Yurt ~ amazing attention to detail everywhere. Spotlessly clean and a warm welcome from Sue. We, three girls spent two nights in this peaceful beautiful place. Hot tub, separate fully equipped kitchen and bathroom ~ makes glamping a dream! Definitely going back!

Came over yesterday with my son for 24hrs on Swan Lake.. Considering at one point it was minus two. We still managed five carp.. The hut with the microwave and kettle really helped on such a cold night. Many thanks to all the staff for providing such a clean and safe environment to fish in..Definitely be back when it warms up.. Mark and Kieran..��

Banked some beautiful Tench,Rudd & Carp all in the margins on a recent visit. Is a beautiful setting which makes it even more pleasurable, I like the fact you can fish the venue unsure of what your going to be getting which makes it that much more special

After reading the bad reviews I was worried about fishing here, how wrong could they be. I fished the smaller lake and my 2 pals fished the larger one. I had 4 very well looked after carp between 7 and 11lb plus plenty of roach,perch and a nice tench. Will be going back next weekend again. I did notice that all the bad reviews was done on the same day, so I think some people must have seen some thing that one angler must have done, we was checked to make sure we had mats and barbless hooks.

Went Saturday for first time liked the fishery seemed to be run well very tidy and well kept , caught carp up to 28lb all fish where mint condition no dodgy mouths like some day tickets never see any bad fish handling from any angler all had mats to unhook on I was asked about barbless hooks and lead release system as this was a must , balliff was very helpful giving out some info and where to fish All in a descent fishery to spend time on ,will be going back again soon

Mixed review really.

I’m a carp angler and stayed in the hut.

The hut itself I found OK, but very overpriced.

£45 per night then £20 for your rods and your pinned in a small area. Not ideal for a carp angler. There are 3 lakes which are set up for Match angling.

However if your paying £65 per day you don’t really want to be moving all your gear all over the place as you feel hard done by.

For the price charged I think the Hut could have been better positioned to give more lake to fish.

Personally this is great for a couple who are there to pleasure fish. No good for carp anglers.

Just take your Bivvy.

The bailiff and facilities however I can’t fault.
