Lakeland Wildlife Oasis

Arrived at lake land from the outside seemed small and to be honest it was but packed with plenty to do and felt welcoming animals looked happy and were very inquisitive and not afraid would defiantly go back

We have just got home from a zoo keeper experience. Neil was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We were greeted with a warm smile and given a breakdown of what was going to happen during the experience. Neil made sure we got to spend a bit of extra time with the Lemurs as this was my wife's favourite. Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is a fantastic place for people of all ages and I would definitely recommend the zoo keeper experience to anyone. Thanks Neil..!

I've been here with my family a couple of times now. Yes it's small compared to some places, but it allows you to get a personal experience with the friendlier animals. I paid a little extra an my children got the meerkat experience with Neil who was great, well worth the money.

It's small, but what's there is well kept and presented. Lots of fun and interest for our kids aged 2 and 5, especially the feeding and handling sessions. Good food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Been here twice and we be back again.

We had an afternoon out with our two grandchildren here today and very much enjoyed it, started with a good lunch for us all in the cafe which we all enjoyed and the staff were great.

The Oasis is quite small but there are so many different animals and interesting things to see in a very good layout we easily passed 3.5hrs with no problem.

All in all, well recommended, we all (2 adults and two boys 7&4) loved it.

The wild cafe is over priced and not great...the wildlife oasis is ok but overpriced...there is a butterfly area, with leaf cutting ants. An area with lizards and frogs and fish...the biggest attraction has got to be the random two snow leapords that they have there..its kind of like a random small zoo in the middle of nowhere..

This zoo just needs a bit of TLC. It is very small and does not have any large animals, the cafe isn't very good and the staff didn't seem very knowledgeable. I would have scored this a one out of five based on this but there's the animals that have saved this. This zoo has some animals I have never seen anywhere else, they have a golden orb spider and a fossa and some other unusual animals that are worth looking at. I left feeling like 'wow, never seen those before' and 'shame about the facilities and aesthetics of the place '

Son did the zoo keeper experience for the day and absolutely loved it. Our Keeper Debbie, was really nice and friendly and my son loved going in with all the animals. Well worth the money, fantastic day and cannot thank them enough. One very happy boy.

Enjoyable outing for the day. Cafe was lovely. Good selection of animals, Snow Leopards were amazing. Good place to go for a few hours.
