This house is an elegant Edwardian property quietly situated 100 metres from Bassenthwaite Lake and with great views of Skiddaw mountain range and a glimpse of Bassenthwaite Lake. The house was built in 1904 for the boss of the "long gone" railway station. We have been priveledged to own Lakeside for 8 years and have succeeded in creating a peaceful haven away from life's daily stresses yet we are only 10 minutes drive from Keswick and Cockermouth towns. The highly recommended Pheasant Inn is walking distance.
