We’re excited to announce that we are now stocking Haymans Gin as our new house gin. The Hayman family have been distilling True English Gin for 150 years & now have their distillery in Balham, just up the road from Lamberts!
We will be serving their London Dry Gin & the Royal Dock Gin. The latter being “navy” strength at 57% will be used in our “Lamberts G&T” with sage and pink peppercorns. Cheers!

After my abundant redcurrant harvest last week I am struggling to hide my disappointment at this years gooseberry haul. The highs & lows of growing your own I guess. What are your recent successes in the garden/allotment?

What a lovely gem hidden in Balham. Amazing food and excellent service. We were served by Shaun and we got excellent service from him from ingredients to our dietary requirements. Best they do half portions for light lunch as well!

We had a lovely meal celebrating my sister's birthday, the food was excellent and the cocktails were delicious especially the Rhubarb Martini �

Walked past here with a friend looking for a place to eat and found a gem - wonderful fresh food, good wine and attentive staff. Will be back for sure

This time 12 years ago, Lamberts was our favourite local restaurant and after my then boyfriend and I discovered it, we'd visit loads, especially for the wine tasting gourmet nights. When we got engaged we discovered that we could order a wedding wine list from an associated (at the time) wine merchant. Fast forward to this Saturday and our 10th wedding anniversary. We don't live in the area anymore but decided to come back to drink our final bottle in our old favourite. We weren't disappointed. Gorgeous, responsibly sourced menus. We started with the Drunken Burt with sourdough and just stopped short of licking the paper! Then the lamb, which was fabulous and finished with the chocolate pud. All just simply luscious. The staff were great, busy but so friendly. We love where we live now, but so sad we don't have Lambert's down the road any more. If you do, make sure you go and take advantage!

The food was simply amazing. Really nice and friendly service. Child friendly as well. Chocolate hot pudding was divine. One of the best restaurants in Balham

The food is amazing, steak and fish cooked to perfection. Staff and owner friendly and welcoming a hidden gem in Balham.

The food and cocktails in this place make me want to eat and drink using tea spoons to prolong the pleasure. Simply put - orgasmic. Try the steak and the Pomegranate Cosmopolitan.

The best restaurant in the South West! Love the service and the variety of flavours. Give it a go.

Fantastic food, great service, fantastic drinks and very cosy. Best place to go with friends and loved ones. Food is absolutely excellent.

Amazing food cooked to perfection and a warm welcome from friendly staff. On our first visit you managed to delight an occasional meat eater, a nervous diner and a fussy veggie all from one menu!

Adore Lamberts! Still our favourite after many years. Lovely birthday meal this evening. Delicious food made from great ingredients, brilliant attentive but unobtrusive service. Such a quality place yet so relaxed. Highly recommended! 10/10

Absolutely awesome service, beautiful food - really beautiful food - can't believe this was my first visit! Joe and the rest of the staff are lovely. V v v happy, will be back!....go for the Duck it was divine!
