Lambton Street Youth Centre!

Lambton Street Youth Centre is based on Hylton Road Playing Fields, Sunderland, and is one of the oldest youth centre's in Europe - forming in 1901. The centre, now a registered charity, offers the youth of Sunderland a range of activities to over 1500 members.

Lambton Street Youth Centre, ran by and supported by an equally dedicated team of staff and selfless volunteers who give their free time for the benefit of the youngsters, offers a range of activities including football, boxing, ikedo, judo, circuit training, karate, trampolining, basketball and netball, as well as the popular Fitness Fun Fridays, and Aiming High Saturdays.

As well as a state-of-the-art gym facilities we provide, we also have a large sports hall that can be used by our members - and is also used by the police for their training days!
