The Lancaster Gate tube station at the north side of the Hyde Park
Closed till mid 2017 to rebuild the lift shafts (the only access to the platforms). TfL desperately need to build an underground walkway/travellator between Lancaster Gate and Paddington and recognise it as a heavy use travel pattern. An underground link will also reduce the burden placed upon the Lifts.
the worst station, all the time I used this station I've had a problem with the asistants. It should be an outstanding service, considering that is close to the hotels. Probably not all of them are the same, but I have to say that it's quiet often to receive a terrible service.
Quiet and neat station
Good access
Sort your displays on the ground floor. I took it easy because my train wasn't reported to come..but it left five seconds before I got to the platform.
One of the prettier stations... If you enjoy the brutal industrial design of our underground of course. It's actually quite a meandering station. Possibly not ideal if one is in a rush.
