Great tasting if the Wines of the Loire valley last night with 9 wines tasted from across the whole of the region from Muscadet to Sancerre. The stars of the show were the old classic Muscadet, very clean & crisp to the beautifully mature Chinon reserve privee, and we do it all again tonight. 😊 👍 😊

Whoo Hoo!!! 6 year's ago - Lancaster Wine Company first opened it's doors. To celebrate this week-end we are having an Open house free tasting. With lots to sample what ever your taste. 12 + wines, 6+ Gins, some great whiskies & also some of our new beers too. So why not pop along & help us celebrate on Saturday between 12pm to 6pm ... & on Sunday between 12pm to 4pm there might just be a glass of sparkling wine in it for you!! On Saturday or Sunday buy 6 bottles of wine & receive a great 10% discount or buy a case of wine (12 bottles) to receive a 15% discount if you spend over £100.00 on the case. Great Pinot Noir tasting last night with 9 wines tasted from across the world, with examples from Portugal, Italy, New Zealand, Southern France, California, Australia, Argentina, South Africa & Hungary. These 2 beauties were the stars of the show with the Hungarian wine being the best value & the Kiwi being just fabulous.

We tasted Sparkling wines from Spain, Alsace & Limoux France, South Africa, Italy, Chile & England & 2 Champagnes from Palmer & Co and Lallier 2010, the latter being the star of the show - for our shop tastings this week. And Rory stopped by on Thursday too! ☺
