Wonderful weekend staying in Asker cottage! Thank you so much for your hospitality and letting our eldest son help you feed the chickens - the eggs went down very well at breakfast � Highly recommend staying... beautiful cottages and plenty to do if weather is poor (pool was gorgeous and the games room well stocked!); and close enough to drive out to lots of wonderful day trip locations

Well what can I say it is a pukka place to stay.

The shepherds hut is a very nice a nice aspect with plenty of room for a little dog to run around out side. From here it is easy to get to places like Bridport.



The site boasts a very nice pool to swim in and a pukka little sauna.



And a nice little piece of woodland to wander through when going back to your domicile.



When we arrived there was a nice welcome pack for us and out little dog which I thought very nice......

We have just had the amazing week in Wey Lodge. Our children 7 and 4 loved the swimming pool, games room, outside area, chickens, fairy walk and the hot tub. Thank you for a lovely holiday we will definitely be back x

We have just got back from an absolutely beautiful stay! Trying to find somewhere big enough and reasonable enough to fit three kids and an energetic puppy whilst also being relaxing for us was difficult! However our stay in broad loaf was just that, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend.

This was our first stay here. We stayed in one of the Lodges which was very clean, cosy and well equipped. We were able to our dog too who had a welcome treat, bowl, towel and throw. There was a lovely little area for her to run around in too. Owners very welcoming and helpful.

This is our second time staying at lancombe country cottages this year. I couldn't rate the owners or the cottages enough. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and clean and had everything you could ever need (including washing up liquid and tea towels) the flowers and tea and coffee are a really nice touch. The team at lancombe really do help you have a perfect stay and have all the info or will help in anyway they can. Please let me come move in Caroline! I never want to go home. Can't wait to come see you all again soon x

Lovely peaceful setting, clean comfortable well equipped accommodation. Swimming pool onsite is an added bonus. Short drive to the coast. Would definitely recommend.

Just what we needed , a get away from it all break. We will be back at some point for sure.

If you want a get away from the world place come here and marvel in this beautiful countryside. The hens and ducks make the most noise for miles !! Truly a lovely place don't hesitate to book guys.

Just spent a weekend in broad lodge, loved it! Very well equipped spacious accommodation, beautiful surroundings and lots of animals. The girls loved the swimming pool and we all made very good use of our hot tub, perfect!

Just returned from a wonderful relaxing break in Axe Lodge perfect for me and the dog. If you want a place that is dog friendly and in a fantasic setting for visiting the best of Dorset I can highly recommend Lancombe cottages and Lodges. Beauty had her own welcome pack of bowl, bed, towel and a treat which was soon devoured. . Axe Lodge is ideal for a couple and extreemly well equiped. The bed was also really comfy. I was lucky to have sunshine most days and took advantage of the woodland trail for our early morning walk checking for the fairies and meeting the chickens.

The area is perfect with Bridport, and West Bay only 20 mins away. Do visit Corfe Castle (NT) and the tea rooms with views of the castle. The Hive cafe at Burton Bradstock is weel known for it's food and dogs are welcome too.

Caroline and her family are so friendly and welcoming I can't wait to go back. Thank you for making my holiday so enjoyable. I will definately be staying again!

I didn't get chance to use the indoor swimming pool but this has to be a real bonus for families.

Just returned from a much needed family holiday. We had Cerne Cottage & a shepherds hut. On arrival we were so impressed with the welcome & the accommodation. There was everything you needed supplied from fresh flowers to towels, washing up liquid to tin foil even tea towels ( which was handy as I forgot ours lol) The accommodation is extremely clean & tidy & done to a very high standard which is matched by Caroline & her family. We all loved the games room & borrowed a couple of dvds. Our daughter loved the indoor pool & was usually up & ready to use it as soon as it opened every morning sometimes swimming twice a day. We also used the spa for a couple of treatments which we can definitely recommend.

Caroline was lovely & nothing was too much trouble, it was like going to a friends to stay. My daughter summed it up on the last day when she said " mummy is it just me or does this feel like home"

We loved it so much that we are planning to return & take my parents back.

Just had a wonderful week in Wey Lodge. Lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean, with milk, tea, coffee & biscuits waiting for us. Plenty of fluffy bath towels.

Facilities all family friendly with a great kids room stocked with books, games DVD's etc and an indoor heated pool you can use anytime of the day.

Situated in an excellent area with Bridport, West Bay, Weymouth & Dorset all not far away.

We very much enjoyed our stay, thank you Caroline, safe to say we didn't want to leave �

Just got home from another fantastic holiday at Lancombe. Lovely rural setting but not far from the coast. Caroline and her family are incredibly welcoming and a really great place to take the dogs and children. Couldn’t recommend it more. �

Just got back from a fantastic weekend , and will 100% be going back again - loved it !!!

I came away with friends for a few days. The rooms were amazing and comfortable.

The hot tub was a bonus. Would come back again of course 🤩🥂

Had a wonderful relaxing 4 night break in Broad Lodge and would highly recommend it. The lodge was beautiful - a real home from home. Loved the hot tub - perfect way to end the day on a cold crisp night looking up to the stars. Saw the most beautiful sunset too. Perfectly located for exploring the many hidden gems that Dorset has to offer. This was our first visit but I'm sure it won't be our last.

Caroline and family are the friendliest, most caring and accommodating people you could wish for. They helped make our 2 week honeymoon one we will never forget. No request has been to much trouble they have gone out of there way to help meet our needs.



We stayed in axe lodge and even though it's the smallest it was a lovely size with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. We have had as much fun staying in and enjoying the grounds as going out and exploring.



We look forward to coming back and having an amazing holiday . Thank you once again Caroline and family x

Another lovely relaxing holiday at Easter. We enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and the hot tub. And kids loved the Easter egg hunt and just chilling. We’ll come again!
