Can anyone recommend a tenant find service /company in the Plymouth area? Looking to build a long term relationship with a local company to find my tenants. Not looking for the cheapest but looking for the best. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Had a one day course on the new GDPR regs coming out next month run by the South West Landlords Assoc. If you're in business and haven't looked into it you need to do it soon. The fines for storing peoples data without their consent are huge, so all my contractors and suppliers will have to supply me with a copy of their Data Protection Policy in the near future 😎.

I've had a call from a chap with a 3 bedroomed flat available to rent on North Hill, Plymouth. He's looking for 3 tenants who know each other, contractors, students etc... and is looking for £780.00 per month. Not sure if that includes bills or not. I've been let down so many times by suppliers and contractors over the years that when it happens it doesn't come as a surprise anymore. So when i find a company that gives me great service and communicates well, i'm happy to spread the word and help promote their business, so check out www.cathco.co.uk for sales and repair of appliances such as cookers, fridges, washing machines etc. I've had great service from them so far and i'm sure it'll continue.
It's not rocket science, but reliable, conscientious people do seem to be in short supply. Plenty of opportunity for those who are then......
Can any of my Plymouth contacts recommend a reliable firm to fit UPVC windows and doors in rental houses? Must be RELIABLE as the firm i use at the minute are a nightmare to deal with. It takes numerous phone calls and emails to get things done and weeks between measuring and fitting with no communication in between. Thanks in advance.
