Danny came to us with a problem - His open plan kitchen/lounge didn't really work for him and his partner and there was no downstairs wc or utility room. The kitchen was too small and the lounge didn't feel cosy enough or provide an enclosure for an imminent baby. The idea was to partition off the lounge again and extend to the rear to create a kitchen/diner flooded with light. A small front extension sympathetically designed took care of the wc problem.
This client called upon the services of Landy Design to create an extra bedroom above the garage. The extension has been designed to look like an original part of the house and the front elevation is now a lot more balanced. A vaulted ceiling makes this room appear a lot larger than its footprint.
