A worthwhile stopover, lovely coffee shop, gift shop filled with top quality merchandise, something for everyone.
A dog friendly section, Bark & Brew, including pooch merchandise, where owners and their beloved pets can relax, have a bite and browse.

Dog friendly. Good good food at reasonable prices. Pleasant staff.

Lovely coffee, good breakfast, delicious scones. Not inexpensive, but reasonably priced and a beautiful setting. I wanted a bit of all the cakes!

Latte was lovely. Good menu, good coffee and helpful staff 🌟🌟🌟

They have also opened Barker and Brew so doggies can sit inside with their owners which is a fabulous idea.
We visited for a coffee and cake one afternoon and then again for a breakfast bun when we were finishing our holiday and leaving the area.
The staff are so friendly. It's nice to be able to go somewhere and feel comfortable when we have our dogs with us and this place definitely made us feel at home.
The food and drinks are of a very high quality and reasonably priced.
There is also a lovely gift shop.
We look forward to returning later this year.

I love the Lanercost Tea Room, great coffee and delicious food, whether going for tea and cake or lunch. Particularly like the new dog friendly area "Bark and Brew"!

A very special place in a beautiful setting,
friendly staff and great menu selection.
If you want a bit off retail therapy then
visit the gift shop that sells a wide selection
of goods many of them locally sourced.
