Langdon Hills Golf Club

this was our first visit back to Langdon Hills since our wedding there in December so it was a very special feeling. the carvery, food and service was as impressive as on our wedding day. Can't wait to return with the family. great value and highly recommend.

the upstairs function suite enjoys an amazing view across the orsett fen towards the exciting london skyline. from a djs perspective it is a little awkward to kit out, but the room always looks lovely when set up, so the hard work certainly pays off! if you are looking for a top quality venue with a touch of class... this is it! bar located in the actual room so everyone is contained within, complete with a wooden dance floor so not necessary to hire in a specific dance floor unless you wish to have one those star lit types installed.

We was here yesterday for my daughters birthday for lunch and it was excellent food and service we will be returning and will recommend it to everyone x

We have hosted many social events here for Thurrock Antiques & Collectors Club, which have been attended by Club members, Stanford & Corringham Probus Club members, folk from St Margaret's Church, Stanford le Hope and other friends. We always receive excellent service and assistance from all the Staff and wonderful food. We can thoroughly recommend this venue for your celebrations!

We had our wedding here yesterday and we absolutely loved it. Thanks to Steve , zoe and the team for looking after us. Trevor the chef is amazing as was Russell the DJ. EVERY single person made our day perfect and was the perfect venue for us with the stunning views etc. It was so good that my sister has booked her wedding here next year. Top venue A1

We had my mother's 85th birthday celebration for very large family back in September (2016) where the staff looked after us impeccably. So impressed we returned this Sunday for our delayed Xmas family meal. Few extra members this time! We were not disappointed! Thank you.

Our annual charity dinner and dance was a brilliant night staff couldn't have been more helpful, even making a special dinner for an unexpected child . Can't praise them all enough , it's a lovely setting with great views from the balcony . Would definatley recommend it 😊

I had my 60th birthday Party on the 2nd Dec in the Fairway suite, all the staff were very helpful , room decorated and the venue was great also I had guests staying who all were very satisfied....I went back the next day and had breakfast with them all.

Breakfast was lovely too, I haven't eaten the Carvery but one of the guest did and gave it 10/10!!!!

Can't wait to go back there for a meal....Thank you to all the staff there for all your hard work

I had my 40th here on Saturday in the Carlton Room. It was perfect. Food was lovely and all staff were extremely helpful. Even when I was running late, they set up for me!

We had the most amazing day and could not be happier. The venue was fantastic and we have some stunning photos of our day and night. Thank you all so much for all your hard work and efforts.

Massive thanks to Trevor and the kitchen team for such wonderful food. You all did a fantastic job and we have had lots of compliments on the wedding breakfast and the delicious evening buffet.

Held my husbands surprise 40th birthday party here at the weekend and we had a fantastic night everyone enjoyed themselves, Steve was fantastic helping with the planning, I hear that the food was fantastic and the bar staff were brilliant thank you for a great night Gareth Morgan

Had the pleasure to be invited to a gold society day. THe venue was great. superb golf course. Played 27 holes to include food and teas coffee. can't recommend this venue enough.

Attended West & Co charity golf day - fabulous throughout. Gluten free bread for my bacon roll was a good start. The course was in fantastic condition and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Finished off with a three course meal efficiently delivered and more especially for me as I have to be GF. This venue doesn’t disappoint

Absolutely stunning venue for our wedding on the 1st july. Thankyou to all the staff especially Zoe and sarah for arranging the hall to look spectacular, trevor and the catering staff for a brilliant spread of food and joseph and the bar staff for keeping up with the demand for wedding drinks. Our special day could not have gone any better.

8 of us family had a carvery yesterday � it was lovely as usual � the chef � and staff are great too , nice and friendly � highly recommend to anyone wanting a carvery

Visited for a society day on the 1st July .... started with the breakfast which was excellent and then 18 holes (Langdon & Bulpham). Course was in excellent condition and the staff most helpful ... I will be returning 👍

Stayed 1 night for a local wedding-room was clean & had all the usual amenities. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Bath was a little dirty unfortunately but we only used the shower. We had a suite with 2 TV’s but only 1 remote🤷🏼‍♀️.

Drink & food in the club house was good and well priced.

Attended a wedding here yesterday. Lovely clean venue. The event was upstairs in I think it was called the Fairway suite. It was delightfully decorated with loos for gents and ladies also upstairs. Food was excellent and piping hot. Service was clean, efficient and friendly. Lovely balcony with gorgeous views out over the golf course and beyond. Had a great day.

Went there Saturday for a Christmas night out. Lovely venue and tables were beautifully laid out. Food was amazing and we had a great night BUT the DJ wasn't great. He played what we asked him (we asked him quite a few times too) but he needs to realise his audience & not play what he likes. A lot of people but only about 10 people dancing at any one time.
