Happy New Year everyone! We are now taking reservations for our first flock of hens. They will be ready to collect end of Feb/early March. Please let me know what you would like so I can reserve them for you. We have just come back from a lovely sunny week in Kefalonia and wow the British weather is grim!! The hens are coping ok although slightly muddy! We still have some hens available. Some of you message me while I was away if you would like to arrange to come and collect hens please message me.
All hens must go before the end of the month. Then we will be preparing our pens, houses and shop ready for the new season. We will be able to offer gift vouchers and a preorder list ...over the winter.

Well it’s been a little bit wet this week but the hens are all in high spirits and have enjoyed scratching around and eating the worms! I now stock a selection of tonics to help your hens with different things. For this time of year resist-a-mite is a great tonic for their water to prevent the mites from feeding on them. It helps create a natural repellent in the blood which is indigestible to the mites.
