We have just spent 3 nights in this hotel and it was fantastic! Everything was perfect, the food is amazing (we ate so much) the staff were so friendly and attentive you couldn’t ask for better, our room was beautiful, immaculate, comfortable, massive and the sea view was gorgeous. Even the entertainment staff were very friendly. One of my favourite things at this hotel was going around looking at all the photos on the walls! It was like a gallery at your fingertips.
We also met the owner mr Neil Kirby who was a lovely chap and so down to earth, he really made an effort with his guests, and I love the fact that he started off as a washer upper at 16 and the experience he has gained in his career is now showing in the way he runs his hotel. Can’t wait to get back there. 👍🏻😁
We have been to many functions at The Langham, including our wedding reception, and have always received excellent service. My husband celebrated a special birthday on Saturday so as a treat I had booked us into one of the sea view suites. We were lucky to be given the recently refurbished Amberley Suite which has been done to a very high standard. The queen size bed was very comfortable as were the bath robes which have the old fashioned bathing hut as their emblem embroidered on them. There are plenty of hangers in the wardrobe space as well as a luggage rack. Guests also have the use of an in-room safe, which is always a bonus. Tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, a sofa and a seating area (in front of the huge picture window with a fabulous sea view) slippers and plenty of towels were also available. The bathroom was immaculate. Breakfast was taken in the conservatory and there was plenty of choice. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The owner, Neil Kirby, his wife, Wendy, their sons, Simon the manager and alll the other staff always make the guests their top priority and know the meaning of great customer care and service. Can't wait for my next visit for afternoon tea!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Langham. Food excellent, room immaculate with good facilities, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Will certainly recommend to our friends and family.
Myself and my partner got married in the Langham hotel on Saturday and we had the best day ever, Simon and all the staff were fantastic and helped make our day perfect, thanks to all at the Langham
My partner and I were treated to lunch at The Langham Hotel by our good friends Maraide and Nick...and we feel in love with the hotel...
The staff are so nice and very welcoming...and the food is just first class...
We have booked to have our wedding at the Langham next May and can't wait for our special day....xx
I stayed here last night and had a brilliant experience! We booked last minute so ended up with a twin room but it was big enough and the bathroom was lovely and had plenty of tea and coffee in the room. All the staff were friendly and helpful! :) The dinner is beautiful, especially the mussels! And definitely have breakfast in the conservatory, you can look out to the sea!
I firstly want to say, what an absolutely fantastic hotel! We got married there on Saturday 22nd July 2017. We had the best day you could wish for on your wedding day. Everything ran like clockwork, and the way the staff turned the room around for the wedding breakfast from the ceremony was done with incredible efficiency. The tables looked amazing when they were all set up with the candles and fresh flowers provided by the hotel, plus the decorations we had for them. Team work is what you look for in an establishment when booking somewhere for your special day and that was certainly evident at the Langham. All of our guests loved our choice of venue and commented to us on how well everything went.
The chef Mike and his team out did themselves with our meal, and again all of our guests said how fabulous it was. The receptionist, Tia, was very welcoming and dealt with any requests I asked for on the day speedily and courteously.
That only leaves me to say how professional and friendly we found Simon the manager. From the minute we booked our wedding at the Langham, he has done his up most to make our special day as memorable as possible. He dealt with any queries we had no matter how small and was always on hand to speak with us or replied to emails quickly.
I would like to say a special thank you to Mr and Mrs Kirby, the proprietors, for such an amazing day in your beautiful hotel. The passion you have for what you do is clearly present in the incredible hard working team you have behind you.
A truly well oiled machine.
Great traditional Hotel. Lovely sea facing room all to a high standard.
Faboulous staff.
Faboulous breakfast
Faboulous location.
This list could go on and on,

Hopefully we will go back one day soon.
Excellent food, very comfortable bedroom, and the staff are most friendly...
Booked last minute on the 16th August 2017, however a good choice of hotel opposite the sea with great views. Lovely double room situated on the 2nd floor with complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, and ensuite bathroom perfect for our stay in Eastbourne. Live entertainment in the evening by the bar, followed by a good breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the sea. Friendly and polite staff always happy to help.
Booked for our anniversary ( they did ask when I booked if it was a special occasion)
On arrival we were greeted with bubbly( no charge) we had a delicious meal, not rushed, friendly staff. Then to top it all they had gone to the trouble of making us a cake ( again no charge)
They made our day so special we will definitely be going back .
Belated Christmas present. Afternoon tea. Staff lovely. Food excellent. Good company. Will definitely recommend it and will certainly go there again.
As always food was lovely and service was excellent with lovely sea view. Best of both worlds there as if it's sunny you can sit outside or if cold and chilly excellent comfort inside. Highly recommend
A fantastic Hotel the staff are excellent very attentive. I have just had my 60th Birthday there and stayed 3 nights. The food was excellent and the Hotel very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
The position of the hotel is fantastic with amazing sea views . Unfortunately the decor is a little outdated but this is not reflected in the bedrooms which were quite modern.May the management could invest in air fresheners for the corridors as it does tend to have the aroma of an elderly care home.
The staff were great and extremely attentive. The food was excellent especially the steak!
Went for afternoon tea. Was shown to our seats afternoon tea brought out then didn’t any staff at all. My daughter had to find waitress for for drinks and again when we wanted to pay. Poor service. Waitress not very friendly
