We had to help a customer today, this does happen unfortunately, however we were straight out to assist, making sure we got the road clear and driver on his way as quickly as possible...Well done lads 🎄🎄🎄🎄

Simon out today in London, went off to speak to the customer comes back to G155 and the elves are out the truck again not only that they have multiplied, these elves are trying to take over i am sure off it!!!! 🎄😂🎄😂

Elfing around!!! Today the 3 little elves have been helping Simon unload the cars, he has said they have been well behaved and very helpful but i don't believe this will last for long!!!!🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

These Elves are naughty and nice, at the start of the day they are helping Simon load vehicles pulling the winch out being good elves,but the next thing there trying to buy cars from the Lexus Garage hopefully the sales manager gave them a good deal as i think Simon wanted one as well!!!!!🎄🎄🎄

🎄🎄Holidays are coming, Holidays are coming🎄🎄 even some of the most iconic vehicles require help so we sent Sean out to go help the customer with this beautifully festive Machine, it definitely feels like a special Christmas here at Lanterns.....Well done Sean!!!!!

Those Elves are out again today, this time they jumped out off the truck to slow Simon down whilst he was on a multi car move, Simon's a good driver though and made up the time well done pal!!!!!!😂🎄😁😂🎄😁

These 3 little elves have just appeared in Simon's Truck they seem to be following him everywhere i wonder where these little elves are going to travel too next week and in what truck!!!!!😁😁😁

Totally brilliant road rescue . Micheal Hampton was really caring, efficient , professional and towed my horse and lorry home safely off the M25. And even had a space for my lab Jet in footwell of the cab too . What a great guy . Thank you �

So thankful for Simon coming to the rescue last night. Stuck 2 hours away from home with two flat tyres at midnight wasn't my idea of fun but lantern made every effort to respond quickly and I can only assume they sent their best employee for this one. Simon was friendly, speedy and took all of the stress out of the situation. Thanks very much.

I was in a road accident on Friday 10th and stranded on the M25. Luckily, Adam came to the rescue and provided an excellent service. My little boy was very distressed and Adam very kindly agreed to take me to a shop so I could get some milk to calm him down. Could not fault the service at all.

I have just been picked up on the m25 by Ricky Fox near the pottersbar turn off and have to say what a great service, it was speedy and Ricky was very professional the car was loaded in no time and we were on our way, we had a good old chat and put the world to rights on the way home. Thanks again

I have a recovery service through my bank and had to call today. Found out it has been changed from SMR to Lantern Recovery...thank god! Having the previous company leaving me and 2 kids on the motorway for 2 hours before, I was very impressed that, having been told a technician would be approx 60mins, he got here in 20 mins! Said technician arranged pick-up, approx 60-90mins, here in 30mins! Both very friendly and I didn't have to drive my own car onto the flat bed, as the previous company had made me do! Thank you, so glad my bank has changed companies!

I encountered a problem on M25 yesterday evening and Matt Bacon provided exemplary and extremely rapid assistance! As a woman travelling alone and my first ever will trip on the motorway he was friendly, pleasant and reassuring! It was almost a pleasure to have broken down.......! If I hadn't, I wouldn't have met this really helpful gentleman who was efficient and chatty, (says he could talk for England, but I think I outdid him). I had a pleasant and timely return to my home by an extremely pleasant young man and will be forever grateful to him for the service he provided! Words can't describe how happy I was to be assisted by such a personable man......a credit to his company who restored my faith in human nature with his manner and pleasant personality! I really don't know what I would've done without his help. He chatted in a very friendly way for the whole journey, which we a result of pleasant conversation, passed rapidly! I would recommend Matt Bacon and the company to anyone! Brilliant service! The brightest star in the night sky! **************************

Had brilliant assistance from 2 of 3 of your operatives that arrived Tuesday night when my car broke down at Hatfield tesco I couldn't fault Dawn who arrived in a van to diagnose the issue with it and then to the 3rd operative who arrived and swiftly loaded my slighty low fiesta onto his vehicle with no trouble. Shame about the second person who arrived and was slightly rude (il guess had a long night) about not being able to load the car.

Great service � recovered a tanker that had a clutch that had gone. It was stuck between two fuel pumps on a busy petrol station. very tight to get out but your driver did a amazing job! Using the winch, and time and skill.

I would have thought looking at it, it was a split the unit from the trailer and recover the trailer another time.

Driver Peter Hounslow recovered my vehicle on Sunday night 31st Jan from Hatfield to Cressing Essex. He was very polite and sociable and made the journey home a comfortable and an enjoyable one for both my wife and I. He is an absolute credit to Lantern Recovery. Job No . 827632

Blew a tyre on my trailer on way home from Poole. The service i received was excellent. Was told on the phone it would take an hour to get someone out. The guy turned up in 20 minutes.

Had me back on the road in 10 minutes....lifesavers

Well had accident and phoned @4:30 phoned me back @ 5 picked us up @:8 and took us to their south mins depot out of way of where we was going 3hrs later and I'm still sitting here

So far 7hrs for one recovery could have walked back to London from Cambridge by now

Shame one of ur crap drivers gives the company a bad name, trying to cut in right at the last minute on the M25 joining the A12, causing me to slap my brakes on and expecting me to just let him in when everyone else had queued for ages, sitting side to side with me edging in, get back like everyone else had to, ignorant driver!!

Lantern were unable to recover my van when I broke down near Exeter. I had to leave it on the side of the road with the keys hidden in the end. And then I had to wait several days before they took it from their holding pen on to my mechanic near where they are based in Potters Bar. Poor communication, I had to chase them every day! And then they charged me a ridiculously exorbitant amount for recovery, claimed it took 14 hours when it was a 5 hour drive at 40mph. And to cap it all they damaged my van in the process. Not badly, but that's not the point, it cost me more money and a lot of time to find the parts to get it fixed. They were simply not interested in this; their only interest was collecting the money they scammed me out of. Poor service, hidden charges and unfair business practices. A bunch of cowboys; Avoid.

Had my car recovered with lanterns recovery through BMW in March'17, upon collecting my car I had noticed my £160 sunglasses were missing! I notified BMW and LRS immediately! BMW couldn't be anymore nice or helpful, they sent me a cheque to cover half of the cost of a new pair! I had nothing from LRS, no response to any emails or letters and no return phone calls either! I'm am still awaiting a cheque to cover the rest of the value!
