If anyone has switched off at my regular economics rants over the last 20 odd years, listen to this chap. Seriously bright and very lucid. It turns out I was just ahead of the curve. (Only teach economics to mature students or a crinckly as my fellow students refered to me.)

This is the first protest march I have taken part in. I'll be 70, next birthday. This the most inspiring and important event for my country in my lifetime. (with the possible exception of 'Sgt. Pepper') Anyone want to join me?

I just found this terrible note stuck to the window and door. It took me aback I can tell you. So you'll be pleased to know I will spend the next week looking in every mirror for the villain who wrote the note. I will let you if I find him next week!

... This totally forgivable stoppage is due to a guilty conscience. That is to say the annual polishing of all my pennies combined with the repainting and covering up of all my artistic errors when trying to improve my collection of Rembrandts, what a LOSER that guy was, SO SAD. After so many years and even opening a Coffee House in their honour, I have at last been to Mr & Mrs Larsson's house that he painted in pictures so often and with such care. I took a tour and although I was the only English person, they did the whole thing in English. Naturally I took it upon myself to interpret for the Chinese, sundry Europeans and the odd party of Syrians who thought they were with the Estate Agents. I learned a lot though and I will be given lectures over the Lattes with the shortened espresso version. I was a little surprised that they copied my Veranda though.

Dear Coffee Lovers Larsson’s Coffee House and Crêperie will be closed from Monday the 9th reopening Tuesday the 24th of January I have absolutely no authentic excuses. I just fancied a break. I might go fell walking in the fells or perhaps rock climbing on the rocks. I might even go River Dancing in the ….Nah too wet.
Anyway I will tell you all about my adventures, unless of course they really are too unlikely. Even then? All the best ... Martin ps. I feel awful it is more than 4 days since I stuck the above notice on my windows. I must go on the "Efficiency and Time Management Course" that the Looe University and Town Council have recently suggested.
