I love this place. Something of a calm oasis when the city is in overload :-)

Staff are lovely, food is great and the beer/wine/cocktails are superb.

Always my first port of call for lunch and a relaxing drink.

A group of 4 of us ate and had drinks here pre-show at the Hippodrome. The restaurant is really nice, well situated and the food was really good as were the cocktails, if a little slow.



My only gripe was with the apparent manager, who when we asked if we could order more drinks she bluntly told us to order at the bar. When we told her we had ordered food her response was 'oh, well I'll get your waitress then'. Not a good way to lead by example IMHO.

Was here Saturday evening. Nice place had a chicken wrap with black eye peas. And 2 for ten cocktails 🍸 only negative thing I have to say is there could’ve been more meat in the wrap.

Fairly poor service here last night. We sat outside, no-one came to take order or even give us menus! We had to do it all ourselves at the bar. And then we waited ages to be served drinks, couldn't have the cocktails we wanted as they'd ran out! Must say the food was really nice, but no-one came to clear plates or ask if we wanted anything else, so sat with dirty plates while we finished drinks. Plus, the decking outside was broken and I nearly fell of my chair as one of the planks was loose! Told a member of staff who couldn't have cared less. Really disappointing service, expected better.
