How to make a Las Iguanas Caipirinha ⚡️
Who else better to make it than our Caipirinha loving bartender, Courtney. According to Courtney, the secret ingredient for all great tasting Caipirinhas is that they are made with much love and passion! ❤️
Step 1: Put 8 Slices of Lime into a glass (a whole lime) ... Step 2: Sprinkle 3 teaspoons of fine sugar over the Limes. Step 3: Gently muddle the sugar and lime together to extract oil from the peel and juice from the meat. Step 4: Add your cachaça!! (The more the merrier 😉) Step 5: Add your Ice Step 6: Mix and stir to integrate the mixture Step 7: A little more ice to your preference and add a recyclable stirrer so you can continue to mix those developing flavours whilst drinking. Step 8: The most important step........sit back and Enjoy!!

Most guests first try of cachaça is in the Caipirinha. The name is nearly always mispronounced on first attempt, so here is a Pronunciation break down: “Kai-peer-een-ya”. 🤗
⚡️According to a Portland bartender Andrew Bohrer, the defining characteristic of a traditional Brazilian Caipirinha is that it must be prepared in the glass...and we couldn’t agree more!
We don’t want to dilute our cachaça too much and feel you really get those flavours of the cachaça, fresh Limes and superfine sugar bonding in the glass as we muddle and mix it with crushed Ice! ⚡️
